I never thought I’d say this but Band-Maid is my favorite band of all time. They’re just too good and likable to deny them the ICHIBAN status.

They did to this what they did to "Puzzle" turn it into a sad melancholy song. But then again you haven't seen "Puzzle", yet, that will be your next "favourite" one.... guaranteed! Then it's sad song time with the acoustics of "Choose ME" ( Saiki on piano) and "Puzzle" ( Saiki accompanied by Kanami on acoustic guitar" The acoustics these ladies do apart and together r sooooooooooo Gooood. Prodigious springs to mind......

Aside from the incredible music and playing, the way Miku and Saiki have shorten and twisted her lyrics to fit Kanami's writing is pure genius. The cadence, syncopation and soulful expression, like in Choose Me, is rare and kinda old-school-rock exceptional. It feels a bit like scat and fits perfectly to the vibe of the music - one reason why some of us don't care if we can't understand most the lyrics. Thx, Alexa!

you're going to love the Ohrenje documentary series, it's so well done. "Choose Me" can be seen played live in the Netflix action movie "Kate" starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Miku Martineau, Woody Harrelson. they are seen playing in a nightclub, also the song "Blooming" from Band-Maid is used during an exciting car chase scene. Make sure it’s the LIVE from their 10th Anniversary Concert from last November 2023. It was the final song of the 3.5 hour performance and the love between the band and fans is evident. I think you’ll enjoy it.
