County hopes to place homeless living at Park and Rides in long-term housing

Campers and tents have filled the Holt Avenue and College Avenue Park and Rides. Something the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) is trying to end.

That’s a very tough situation I’ve been there I’m speaking from personal experience when I say all of those people that are living there a good percentage of them are not on drugs. I lived in that area last year and two people that I went to stay in there I used to let them shower at my house sometimes last time I heard from either of them they were both working jobs I even got one of the guys a temporary job at the place that I work at right now

The government forced the indigenous to walk a trail of tears out of Milwaukee. Then created an unsustainable system of greed. Now Milwaukee is a sinkhole. The lands that once teamed wildlife and food are not available to those who need it most. Solutions are available but governments greed keeps people from life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Good goes unreported. There is free food in the parks systems.
