Thank you for showing us producers new products and innovations and for testing them out. Look forward to seeing you use this spray component and giving us feedback on how it works for you.

The spacing of the levees in a rice field depends on the rate of fall of the field from the high; which is where the water comes in. The more fall, the more levees. The orange tarps are used to make "aprons" that allow water to flow through to the next "patty" without toppling the levy. That's how you regulate a fairly consistent depth in each patty. Precision Land Leveling reduces the need for as many levees.

that BBQ made from the rotor I don’t know if that is the same one or not but a couple years ago the brothers from Welker farms RUclips channel in Montana made one very similar too that one and they donated it to be auctioned off at a farm show so that could be the same one

The levees are to level off the terraine. You only have 6” of water and if you don,t level the ground out, you have problems. Even in flat Louisiana, we have to put up levees to level the ground.

Matt, this may sound like an ignorant comment but it comes honestly. Thanks for showing the install of those white plastic flighting parts. I thought they came in one long piece that you had to wind around the shaft. Oops. Plus i just learned its called flighting. 😊

Good video Matt, man that parts chasing is almost another facet of what a Farmer needs to know. Used to do a bit of that myself, ate up a lot of my time.

Usually a levee every 2 tenths of fall. Rice is a pain twice a day everyday.

They use to grow watermelons over in Augusta. I can’t believe you don’t like our interstates, 67/167 isn’t bad at all, unless you went down 40 and that would explain a lot.

Matt hoping you and Kelly have a successful crop season this year. Your videos always seem to have an educational experience. You are a very dedicated farmer showing the ups and downs of farming. Your are just one of the few farmers that show how much it costs and the rewards after harvest. How many hours are on your combine and with that amount of hours is it normal for the cam to go bad? Hope the cam did’t cause any other problems with putting metal shavings in the motor. Keep up the good work.

Around 4300 engine hrs. No that is not normal wear and tear
