I've been braiding the same parts for 5 months (every 8 weeks because I have small beads on the ends to avoid single strand knots) now. Goal is one year. Might go 18 months. I wasted over six months in mini twists because I couldn't keep the single strand knots away because I insisted on wearing them down unless I was wearing a sweater
Yay! Well done. I definitely CANNOT do mini braids or mini twists lol. They have to be medium. Plus my hair is a lot thinner than yours so you can def get away with it. Good job! I loved the braids and love your hair loose. I always fine that when I’m protective styling, I forget how to style my hair loose 😂

Thanks for the suggestion! I think I’m really drawn to the small braids because my hair is on the thin/fine side and it helps give my hair somewhat of a fuller look but I may give the medium size a try one day! Thanks!
@@Kali4Life. completely understand i just feel like smaller braids caused my hair damage compared to medium .. my hair is fine too .. i dont really care of the look but more the health.. that would be different for everyone of course
