I love that they included the sound of shoes squeaking in the song. It really enhances that sense that they all just randomly run into each other out and about and start dancing around with each other. Or like when they’re doing the dance practice videos and you can hear their shoes. I find it so charming and authentic.
This goes to show that XG can't miss a step. They can give hard hitting bops with hard hitting choreo and they can slow down too and give us beautiful music like this and it will still hit it's mark. This dance and this song has me in a chokehold. It is so fascinating how their moves flow into each other. I follow one member and suddenly the formation completely changes into another one, like you mentioned. It is soooo cool

When Chisa did her new dance the formation reminded me of a studio. Where Chisa is facing the mirror and the others are like the class behind her that following her moves. With Maya and Hinata new dance the girls form Soul Train lines. So as Maya and Hinata do their new dance down the line the others form two lines and groove side to side. The when Cocona does her new dance its more like a cypher set up, where they are just around her as she damces and then join in.

It def gives off throwback 98-04'ish vibes. As soon as I heard it, my mind went "your MIDDLE SCHOOL days" and when I counted back, some of the years actually line up along with early high school. I even remember when we were wearing jeans with the big fades down the front of the thighs like Hinata's (hers are better) in the dance practice but in bootcut. Shoe of choice 75% of the time? White air forces. 😂Don't even get me started on the takeover of the skirt over jeans combo that took over like in the music video on Chisa. 🤦🏾♀It was an interesting time in fashion, y'all. LOL

I jsz love their dance practices way more than their MVs. First I can see them dance. In the MVs there're only snipets of the choreo and I miss it cause they're so good at it. And second... it may be me as a guy, but I love the more natural look they have here. Same goes for some of their live performances. Yes, I know that dance pratices are designed this days, too, but ... why?
