Have this same problem..its been sitting in my yard for over a year now...started messing with it the other day and all I would hear is a click from the fuse box under the dash board....the car ran great until I had a starter put on and then it wouldn't crank...my mechanic started it under the hood with the starter relay to show the starter is good but it wont Turn over no sound but a click under the dash...I get lights and all...so gonna recharge my battery again and get at it...did you find out what the problem was?
@@peterl6095 the starter was clicking alot.. so I figured I would get ahead of it and have my mechanic change it..I also had him do a tune up since I only had the car less than a month...when all was done they cranked it up no problem...then turned it off .it wouldn't crank afterwards...then they tried again . It cranked and I tried to drive it home and it wouldn't go over 10mph and studdering badly..I immediately took it back and it wouldn't crank..that's been a year ago..in my yard now...did some tests today..tried the jumper wire in the relay holes to turn over the brand new starter from a year ago and got no sound. But I do hear a click in the fuse box under the dash...
Maybe a ground wire issue...sounds like they messed up a simple sparkplug coil change. Bad misfire....or maybe your mechanic purposely messed up your car in some way.
@@yasoutherncousin I'm having this same exact problem right now, did you ever get this figured out, and if you did, could you please point me in the right direction to getting this fixed?
@@erikmacaluso unfortunately the car is still sitting..but I did find that a fuse blew under the dash driver side..changed that and it cranked right up.. but now not getting any response when I press on the pedal..could be the pedal position sensor. I got a couple of those from the junkyard and still no response. Dealer wanted me to pay them 1400 to change the wire harness before they even would diagnose the issue..no way..

What was the problem before that? The starter died on you?
