After abandoning GTA Online (or taking a long break, idnno), it physically hurts to play LA Noire, dunno why. Thankfully im not seeing tryhards and Oppressors everywhere.
Tried it. The problem I have with it is that the filter is too strong. It's really hard to play because of how aggressive the whites are and how difficult it is to see clues.
Nope they didn't do any of that because they didn't make this game. Team Bondi made this game using a completely different proprietary engine plus the Rage engine for physics. They definitely learn every time making a new game, cause houses also being built in GTA 5 could be a LA NOIR reference.
LA Noire was only published by Rockstar, they couldn't have learnt anything from the development of this game.
This video encapsulates to perfection
The simple times vs operating in modern society with social media, internet etc
NPC said fuck your comparisons “CAN YOU PLEASE MOVE!!”
If you noticed the absence of electricity wires, poles and tram tracks on the streets of GTA V, congratulations! You are a meticulous and attentive person!
I platinumed La Noire last year and found its atmosphere better than GTA 5
which do you think is more worth la noire for 20 euros or gta trilogy for 30 euros
@@joao_almeida2265La noir
but GTA 5 feels more like actual LA if you've ever been there
@@fxsupermasterit’s almost like we aren’t in the 40s anymore 🤔🤔
@@joao_almeida226520€?? I just buy on eBay L.A. Noire for PS3 at 15€, i was impressed of the graphics considering it's a 2011 game for the PS3.
can't wait for GTA 6
I temember playing LA noir in VR. It was like a just started version of los santos 😂
I didn't know I needed this till now! 😍
A remake of LA Noire with today's technology of motion capture would be amazing.
Rockstar, please give us a LA Noire sequel. It doesn't have to continue its story. Could be Chicago/SF/NY Noire but please make it happen!
First time i noticed they were set in the same city lol
Rockstar should of done a Doomsday heist time travel mission, where in the Facility was a chamber to travel back in time. and we went back to the 1940's for a job and we met Cole Phelps.
After abandoning GTA Online (or taking a long break, idnno), it physically hurts to play LA Noire, dunno why. Thankfully im not seeing tryhards and Oppressors everywhere.
2:10 that ambulance just drift into the scene
LA Noire is so immersive.
its like a before and after video
When grandpa says things have changed
la discricion clara de : antes todo esto era campo
3:17 😂
I remember a youtuber went to LA just to compare it with GTA5 LS
The game devs cramped the place to fit it for PS3 :P
Atleast from what i remember
Has anyone tried playing LA Noire in black and white?
Yes, really hammers in that noire feeling.
It really does!
is that an actual mode? if so i had no idea
@@matty6878 yes, you can activate the black and white mode in the options menu
Tried it. The problem I have with it is that the filter is too strong. It's really hard to play because of how aggressive the whites are and how difficult it is to see clues.
I imagine Rockstar reused a lot the same models form LA Noire and upscaled/retextured them for GTA V
Nope they didn't do any of that because they didn't make this game. Team Bondi made this game using a completely different proprietary engine plus the Rage engine for physics. Rockstar published the game, and purchased the rights which is why their logo is on the game. Midnight Club Los Angeles is a game that Rockstar actually made, and reused some stuff for GTA V.
You can recreate L A Noire perfectly in gta 5 you can spawn in a Classique Broadway which looks almost exactly like Jack Kelso's Chevrolet Fleemaster
Cole:" I wonder what this city will look like in the future...."
Spongebob Narrator:" "In Ze Future..."
Micheal:" What a shithole...."
california was gorgeous back in those days, still is but it was clean back then
Everytime I see a game made in “California” not matter what game I always picture GTA V… I be like I used to racing on that street, or I have a condo there or we played rockets vs insurgents on that road.
At first, in the original idea , LA Noire was not thinked as a open world
Great comparison and video!
can you please move?🗣️🔥
Wish there was more to do in La noire’s open world. The game was still good though
Wished they actually did the GTA mission structure with that open world instead of having the world be unlocked after completing all of the cases on the desk
you can tell rockstar definitely reused some assets from LA noire and edited them when putting it into gta V.
its bad enough when the modders and other gamers think mirror park is based on silver lake (its not) but mirror park isnt based on macarthur park either. its specifically based on echo park both in design and name as a mirror is a visual echo..just fyi.
Yeah it just reminded me of MacArthur Park.
@@americangangster1911 it is still a lake comparison so it does work..i thought of that after my comment..one lake to another comparison..still a great video. i never played l.a. noire but watched playthroughs...i hope rockstar will do this again, maybe set in early/mid 90's los angeles with gang cops and homicide detectives...from rodney king riots to the OJ chase and trial, that was a crucial period for LAPD and the feel would be like a cop side remake of gta san andreas. hip hop classics, the CRASH unit of LAPD, if simply 90's based it could even work in the north hollywood shootout...maybe even feel like a more modern True Crime streets of LA, minus the asian gangs! or set in 80's feel like the movie Colors!
@@americangangster1911MacArthur park is what Glen Park in GTA SA was based on.
L.A Noire is such an underrated game. When will Rockstar comeback to make original games/games that's not Gta or Red Dead?
Love how rockstar reused assets from previous titles in this game like the yacht and hanger from max payne 3 are in this game
Cole Phelps: Back in my day, this was all land
I wish they made a sequel to LA Noire. Such a great game. Doubt it though
I LOVE It. It's like real time travelling.
Where is L.A. Noire 2?
Rockstar has made so many masterpieces and this one is begging for a part 2.
Can you imagine if Rockstar made a game centered around the prohibition era?
Epic!
You literally can feel time passing 😮
Wow !
L.a noire is also a decent game in graphics
Yeah and this isn't even 4k, I don't have a 4k TV so I'm stuck with the 1080p setting on my Xbox for now and the capture card is only 1080p 30 fps.
This is the remastered version of L.A. Noire and the most recent version of GTA V both on Xbox Series S. If you play them side by side you will notice GTA V has a much higher frame rate and looks a lot better but it's hard to tell especially if you're watching this video on a phone.
L.a noire doesn't support 4k
L.A. Noire Remastered says 4K right on the case, that's what I'm playing in the video.
@@americangangster1911even on pc la noire is locked to 30fps
Rockstar needs to think of another game like LA Noire set in the 60s and maybe on the east coast like New York. Absolute masterpiece, amazing map and very detailed and the places the storyline took place in really felt so immersive. Honestly we are in dire need of a more down to earth game like LA Noire its so niche its not even funny
Peyote would be a better fit than Hotknife for GTA 5 part.
I think the Hotknife works fine. I would've used the Tornado personally, that is the ultimate 1940s-1960s car, at least in GTA 5.
What a great idea for a video 🤔 lol
L.A. Noire has a certain tangibility in its post processing that gives it a very subdued, 40s-50s look, whereas GTA V looks like a blockbuster. Different strokes I suppose.
I all was wanted a online game like gta that set back in the 60s
LA Noire is a beautiful game.
The graphics in LA Noire seemed better than in GTA V. I know it is not but I like the crispiness of it
Yeah when I was filming it / playing the games it felt like GTA V had better graphics. I agree on RUclips watching it on my phone L.A. Noire does seem to have slightly cleaner or crisper looking graphics.
@@americangangster1911 also I have a sense of nostalgia towards the older games. Sometimes having too much doesn't mean it'll be better. All of these effects when moving around, shooting, etc does enhance the experience but somehow I don't end up missing all of these effects. Instead I think of the simplicity and how very little was enough to make one happy. Or maybe it is all just nostalgia
I did the maze thing when I was running from the cops in gta online casino heist and just did the same case where you go to the maze and somehow didn’t realize it was the same place
Well it's really not the same place it's just two mazes that are similar. In LA Noire it's at the old L.A. art museum while in GTA it's at the Kortz center in the Hollywood hills.
