Charming, yes, and I love the way their voices work together. I tried to keep their timing natural. But I'm not happy with the sound of Elvis' voice in the final mix. It was just too hard to extract it from his demo. If only he had pumped up the volume of his mic a bit. Just a bit would've made such a difference. I may have to start all over again. We'll see.
I really enjoy this production and prefer it over many of his professional offerings (I have all the masters). Congratulations on a fine piece of work.
Is that really Elvis’ voice? Sound like that! Wonderful. The recording can never be so bad that it doesn’t touch you deeply inside. And he sang to the record and then recorded the song along with Patti Page’s voice? If this is true, this is my favorite song from today on. Thanks for the moderate editing!
With this recording, Elvis rises to the ranks of crooners such as Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Julie London, Chet Baker, Johnny Mathis, Doris Day, Mel Tormé, Blossom Dearie …
I wish I could've done a better job separating Elvis's voice from the original recording but there was just too much noise. It's okay when you listen with a headset, though. Thanks again for listening.
I never said the orchestra on the original Patti Page recording was directed by Nelson Riddle, but thanks for the info. I didn't add Elvis's voice to her recording. The music is from the Nelson Riddle record Elvis used for his home recording. I used the same recording to restore Elvis' demo and added Patti Page to the mix to fill the gaps.
So well-done and so charming ! Thank you once again ! When I'll be president, I want you to be my minister of the restoration !

Your perfectionism does you credit, my friend. But the result makes my day everytime I listen to it.
Super good fantastic thanks 👑👑👑👑👍🇬🇧
i love this version

Great job editing his informal recording with her studio version. Beautifully layered!

Superb work👍👍👍
Great job.
Nice pairing!
o i love this version of elvis
That's because you've got impeccable taste :) Too bad he never recorded it in a studio, but at least we've got his home demo.
Great work on your part!!! Thanks!
Very good!
Nice job yet again!
Something had gone wrong with the video. Somehow the vocals had drowned a bit in the process. It's okay now. Thank you for listening. :)

BRILLIANT 🙏👍👍
Excellent impression of elvis
Best Elvis impression I have ever heard,,who is he ?
It's Elvis, home recording.
Nobody can sound like elvis his voice is unmistakable.
You should restore some of my original recordings, dude! Amazing work!

The orchestra on the original Patti Page recording was directed by Jack Rael, not Nelson Riddle. (Nelson worked for Capitol, not Mercury)
