you can change power limit on 7600X and 7700x to any W you want. Which most gamers doing it like I do. 65W ,all cores negative 15 , expo ram and some fan configaration. Save it and forget it.

I've mostly only used Intel and nVidia stuff (I prefer aircooling), but AMD is starting to tempt me more and more. Does AMD's stuff work well for 3d editing software (for creation of STLs (3d Printing), and limited animation). Also I would really love to hear what would be a solid PC build for 1440p gaming? That lower TDP doesn't mean lower power consumption. Look at their base clock and you'll see that the Ryzen 9600X and 9700X are essentially 9600 and 9700 in disguise. Trust me, if zen 5 had lower power consumption, AMD would've mentioned it.
The only things I'm upset about Ryzen 9000 is that there's no additional core count and same boost clock as Ryzen 7000. But other than that, they seem pretty promising. Although this might mean it would be a bit easy for Intel to strike them since they are probably gonna add more cores to their next gen CPUs
