Yeah I tried to adjust my steering wheel and ended up pinching the wires when I re bolted the steering wheel down . And soon as I went on a test drive to test out the steering wheel . The first turned I made heard something pop inside the steering wheel. I stopped pulled over and my cruise control , horn , marker lights , all steering wheel controls no longer worked including city horn . Took it to freight liner they had to install a new clock spring for me @ $1,800.00. Told them to make sure they adjust the steering wheel straight , but they still couldn’t get it as straight as I needed it 🤦 GtDMN!!!!!!!! 😡

That's in the harness that comes up behind... Had this happen... Had to remove steering wheel and fix bare wire

I think I replace the actual horn. It's easy to do
But I got it fix when I took it into freightliner for something else

No I don't think so. But that rate per hour can be ruff at freightliner.

So if you do this be careful about those wires and that clock spring.

I did and I'm apologize I forgot what the issue was. I think it was the horn on the hood part. Smh
