This is the best harmony of three ladies I have ever heard, Emmy,Dolly and Linda. Man alive I fell in love with this when it was new and you could still here it on radio.
Unfortunately it will never sound this good ever again. With the way the industry is moving forward right now. We're lucky to have any resemblance of country music?
Its like Vince Gill said as I stare out the window pane at the Cold Gray Light of Gone. My Shannon has been gone for well over two years now. My life will never, ever be the same. No one else means anything. All I have is Those Memories of You. God Bless my Shannon Burns. Her Denny. 75 years and I hurt so much. Life and love is not fair.
I heard this on the CMA’s this year and I couldn’t place it!! I found that memory, my big sisters T-top cutlass when I was a little girl❤️❤️( Harry Dean Stanton in the video makes it all the better)
I have never heard 3 voices harmonize any better or sweeter than three ladies. They sound like angels , God bless them ! No country music today even comes close to this. Its beautiful , stirring , and haunting.
When you had country singers that performed real authentic country style of music. Country Music today doesn't even remotely resemble traditional country anymore.
My name is Amber. I can relate to the people in this song because I have severe PTSD. It's like the song says. Those memories still haunt me. I listen to the song earlier today and I almost started crying but my psychiatrist called me down
Their sound isn’t haunting, it’s classic. It’s we ain’t afraid to sing with our natural voices and southern accents kind of sangin.

I hope I live long enough for country music to sound like this again
Me too, I love this
@Samuel Rummer There's a guy in Ohio who still plays old country. His name is Curt Guisinger and he has some music on Amazon and Spotify, I think.
Amen brother ♥️🎶
They say the trends are circular. I am waiting for this as well!

I remember seeing this video on TNN back in the early 90s and although I'm not a big fan of Country music, the song is one of my favorites.
I love Country music .
I love the song, but most of all I have always loved this video because of the late great Harry Dean Stanton.

@@RandomHud I'm afraid not. She dropped the name Dixie to kiss up to a bunch of whining ass's on a pity trip. The word Dixie harms no one
