Compared to the freedom Emma had previously played with, my impression was that something was no quite right from the outset, and I cannot see why she would have wanted to interrupt the flow of play when she had just broken serve to take the set and with the opportunity to get back into the match. It is a regrettable fact that injuries are not uncommon, such is the intensity of the modern game, but due credit to Lulu, she played exceedingly well.
