Although I have already installed the syscpk before watching this, I still support your effort for making an effort in producing this video. Thumbs up!
Just wondering....what system/version of 3270 emulator are being used here, because you seem to be doing wondrous things with copy and paste in revedit that I can't figure out how to do with x3270 in linux or wc3270 in windows.
I use Tom Brennan’s Vista3270. In x3270 I do copy and paste with the left mouse button to select and middle mouse button to paste. But that all can be easily configured in x3270
Hi today I try to install SYSCPK I follow all the instructions in your video but when I write command volume file .. give message invalid command .. so please can you help thanks
JAMAL IBRAHIOM , well it worked in the video. You are probably not following all commands and edits. Freeze the video when I do something and look exactly at what I do, and copy exactly
Thanks again for these-- I only just started getting interested in mainframes over the last couple years and went through the setup of MVS 3.8 described on Jay Moseley's site. Here's the link to the page for SYSCPK (for reading): www.jaymoseley.com/hercules/compilers/syscpk.htm

Ah now I get you. Volume file is not a command. It’s just text I am writing to explain how his all goes together. Don’t do a volume file command. Do everything else.
Hi
Robert Dewar was a professor in the CS dept at Courant Institute of NYU. I still remember his COBOL lecture. Truly a master.
Nice
And one of the designers of Ada95 and other things too (Algol 68 and SPITBOL for example)
Wow

Thank you very much for this video. Just followed the video and everything went just fine, even if I am under Windows 7. Great work.
One little question.
What keyboard are you using?
I love clicky keyboards!
I use mechanical keyboards only. I have a couple of them.
You mentioned a release 9 lf TK4-. Do you know when that will be available or where we can get it?
No and nein. No idea when it will come out. I guess when Juergen decides it’s ready.
