It's true - it's mostly an opinion thing. But Deadmau5 isn't the best producer ever, even for the genre of music that he tends to focus on - Progressive House. It's just funny how people think Deadmau5 is the best producer ever... when he's probably the only Progressive House artist that they know. The truth is, there are A LOT of great producers (not to take away from Deadmau5) and it is absurd to say that one is "the best". People even think David Guetta is the "best".
He's not the best producer of dance music. There's a lot out there that deserve more recognition. To me, Deadmau5 has been hyped a lot. He's good but to say he is the BEST producer is stretching it quite a bit. He is pretty damn good though.
