I went on that 3 day trip from Casper Wyoming and followed the trail with you back to Salt Lake on your tour. I highly recommend going! It’s a trip I’ll remember forever! There is a remarkable reverence that comes over you when you can stand at some of the sites where your ancestors had faith building experiences. I had been read these stories as a young girl and in turn have read them to my children. But to stand at places like the Green River Crossing and have Glenn tell two stories of different ancestors. One a miraculous crossing and one a tragic crossing. Was such an incredible experience. The reverence and the Spirit that washed over me was unforgettable. Both stories were of faithful consecrated disciples of Christ. I’m ever so grateful for those that came before me and built a strong family of faith for me to come to. If you’re on the fence about going on a tour like this, hop off the fence! You’ll be so glad you did. If you don’t have a friend to go with you, don’t worry you’ll make lifelong friends on the tour!
Glen, you are a great man and I appreciate you! I love listening to all your firesides, your stories, your willingness to teach and educate us on church history. I do not get out to church alot due to my mitrocoddral disease and I'm on alot of i.vs. On my bucket list is to go on one of your tours.. Love ya my brother!
