Loving Sling Blue. It includes History Channel live and archived. I added MGM+ and Hollywood Extra for FXM, FXX and H&I. Great UI on my LG TV albeit a little buggy. Best in class so far.
I was gonna use Sling TV but it's gone up to 40 monthly. If anyone goes over 40 dollars like adding more space or getting the combo Sling Blue & Orange. They're only 5 or 10 dollars away from RUclips TV price tag that offer more. Only way I see Sling TV being a value is if RUclips TV has a price increase.

I don't have any Air TV device or adapter, yet I am able to see my local channels in my Sling guide. I have an RCA indoor antenna. How is this possible?

You’re welcome! Much appreciated. CNBC is one of the complicated channels to get with Sling. To get it you need the “News Extra” add-on for an extra $6/mo BUT you can only add it to the Blue plan (not the orange one).
Regarding the guide: I wish I could delete stations that I do not watch but others do not rate to the status of favorite. For instance I would NOT be watching a station of a language I do not speak. I wish I could control the Home Screen for stations I care about. I do not like being dictated by the provider what my Home page should include.
You neglected to cover the foreign language packages that can be purchased without buying the orange or blue packages. They are useful for learning a new language. You get several channels for each language. They cost about $15/month.
I don't see TCM, I hope that I just missed it during the video. I've become quite addicted to those old movies with no commercials. If you can get back to me on that I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I've had Sling for most of the time I've had streaming. Others are too expensive and others don't offer enough. I'd like to drop Live TV completely but I'm not there yet.
It's definitely TV. $40 a month (for Blue) still does not immune the customer from Ads (even in movies). Nuisance. This is why the likes of Netflix remains relevant despite dated content.
I think the service is great and if you’re someone is really looking to put everything you watch under microscope it’s a nice way to take a proactive start not too bad.
Dish bill keeps going up. Price is 160 month now! Called them to come get their equipment asap. They then offered to cut my bill to 120 plus tax and fees. Unbelievable . Switched to sling 55 month. 👌

The price increase to $40 just ended me using them unless they start offering up deals again. $35 was ok at times if I really wanted to watch something specifically, but $40 or $55 for so few channels, just can't be justified for me.
Sling won't let me change my subscription. Restarted and cancelled it shortly because it wouldn't let me change from sling blue total tv to sling blue sports package.
My tv isn't a smart tv. To watch youtube on it I wifi from my internet router to my android and then use chromecast to send it to my tv screen. Works fine. No data fees. Can I do the same with sling tv ? Is there a dongle I plug into an HDMI port on my tv that will wifi sling from my router ? As you can see, I am a little confused.

Has anyone had problems with the Sling TV DVR? All plays well but when I stop the DVR and go back later to resume watching the same program, the DVD will start at the beginning of the program instead of where I left off. So frustrating.
I’m curious if I can sign up for this for my father who would only watch local channels but is unable to install an antenna. I assume we couldn’t watch the same channel, say a sports game on a local channel on one account in 2 different areas?
I have a question - each plan has 50 DVR hours, so if you get both Blue & Orange, do you get 100 hours? Nevermind, you answered this question in the video, seems kind of like a rip off. If I buy both, should get 100 hours. Next question and I think I know the answer to this, if you get the "all add-on package bundle" I forget what it's called, but all their add-ons, do you have to buy both, or does buying one make you automatically get all channels that are in all add-on packages? Probably have to buy both because I noticed there are different channels in both add-on lists...

Hello I just start sling TV 3 days ago, I don't like it at all I don't no how to work it, I dint like streaming channels, please suggest set something I could just get a bundle with right now I have sling TV a Roku box and T-Mobile internet I just want one thing in all.
Here are some of the alternatives and my thoughts: -RUclips TV, $73 a month after sign up discount. Much better channel selection + better interface although a little bit of a learning curve if switching from a cable service. -Fubo, $80/month (and up). My favorite interface, less of a learning curve if switching from cable. More Regional Sports Networks but missing the Discovery Networks and TNT/TBS right now. -Philo, Xfinity's NOW TV, and Spectrum TV Stream are all cheaper than Sling but don't sports channels.
It only allows two devices on in the same Wi-Fi grid and it keeps shutting down so if you want to get better coverage, more channels and a good share deal, I recommend RUclips TV on this one sling is the worst
I'm a big fan of sling I've had sling back when it was $25 a month but what I really like it's getting the blue plan on top of the total deals package which gives you another 72 channels making it 115 channels and 200 DVR in three live streams for $61 it's still cheaper than all the other ones and I don't care about the local channels I can use a antenna

I tried Philo and HATED it cuz there is no way to skip commercials on pooping. This review doesn't cover that most important feature, avoiding commercials on pooping. Hence is poop.

Sling SENSORS world news 🤯 they strategically place ads over specific clips no matter how many times you try to replay it INCLUDING RERUNS! Not your job to decide for us & definitely devious & uncool
Sling is a horrid scam, do not get! First, they raised their prices again in 2023 from 40.00 to 45.00 for the blue package. Second, they don’t have local channels and want to sell you a digital tuner that only works with Sling for tons of money. Third, they are not a valid provider like RUclips TV is. This means you CANNOT download missing apps like ESPN and unlock them because Sling is not listed as a provider😡😡😡 Fourth, you cannot sort or delete channels, which makes scrolling a nightmare. They only have favorites and they cannot be manually sorted. Fifth, the picture quality is not that great as other streaming services. Sixth, the channel icons are micro small so it is hard to figure out what channel you are on. And last and the worst, they play tons and tons of really really bad commercials. The commercials are almost longer than the shows! Also, a lot of the commercials are in Spanish. 😧. Just avoid Sling! I watch TV to relax and not get bombard by awful commercials!

@Nikita Sergiyenko i am not sure if your location will affect what youre able to see on fox. Fox has a specific sub channel called FS1 specifically for sports. I just subscribed to their blue plan because there is a promotional black friday deal for $20. This plan has FS1 where you are able to veiw all Fifa world cup games.

I tried sling for a few months, was great! May use it again when I have something good to watch live.
I had the full package plus sports extra for couple of months - then tried HULU + Live TV & not going back (for now at least)

So weird why does the cheapest plan (orange) have the FREEFORM channel but the blue plan, which is slightly more, not include Freeform?
I think each package includes a different few channels
This last year they have raised prices at least 2 times. Amounting to a 25% increase! If it goes up $1 this coming year I’m done with the service.
