@@TravelSpreeOfficial The place was great !! Employees great !!Food delicious !! We loved the room (facing the main pool area). The location is also great. The hotel is a block from 5th ave.
Oh and another thing. If not for you guys we would have never gone to Mexico for a week. We have been on cruises but it’s mot the same. Thanks again

I love living through you for Alaska cuz it's definitely going to be a loooong time til I go. Being a Midwesterner means I don't want to spend my one vacation a year in the chill of the north 😅

As a former skier, I will say that going to the hot tub after a long day of skiing was the best. Sometimes we would even jump in the snow and then into the hot tub. So exhilarating. Oddly enough, we have been to Alaska three times and have yet to do the hot tub but it is now on the list.❤

Ketchikan is a great town.
I didn't buy any merch, but I DID go thrift shopping there because I brought a warm coat and a very light wrap, but needed a hoodie. $7 at the thrift!
We also saw TONS of spawning salmon ... they were THICK in the river!
Have y'all ever been to jellyfish donuts there? They are known for their smoked salmon cream cheese donut. Sounds weird I know, but it was actually really really good. Worth a try even if you don't get that one, everything is good! Check it out next time y'all venture up that way!

Yup hot tubs are heated, pools are too. lol I've been in one at night during a snow storm, that 20' run to house was "enlightening" to say the least.

Just got home from an Alaskan cruise. I got a sweatshirt from every port. I’m home now and sad I have to wait months to wear them … lol. I did wear sweatshirts on the ship and in all the ports.

Those berries were salmonberries! They were just coming into season while you were here in my hometown. They are plentiful but not my favorite, since they don't have a hugely distinctive flavor other than sweet imo.

It does get cold once you get out to sea! For some reason the pool wasn’t cold when we felt it, but honestly not sure if it was heated. We did see people renting the cabanas and just hanging out bundled up. It looked nice!
