I dont think tata will support ford service. If thats the way then maruti would have supported fiat...no they didnt. The engine spares may be available if tata uses ford's engine. Thats it.

@@BossForAReason yes its rigt but still the place of polo is empty now no hood handling cars are available now with good petrol engine . even thouw its no as good as the tsi motar but still the dragon engine when combined with altros it feels good to drive and handels well.

This will be a killer car if this colab happens, only thing increase the torque figuers. 95hp is good but you need a bit higher torque. And finally if they re-work DCA with Ford it will be great.
Hope tata will do right changes like better engines,future proof updates, ditching old tech etc...mahindra is making better cars now and hope tata will do the same..
I have ecosport AT. I know it's good engine but still little feel about 3cylinder. But after this video and I'm happy that I have one of ford global best engine.

I was read about dragon engine 4 years back and it was awarded global engine award due to refined state of tune from 3 cylinders, less weight and 100kmpl/gallon. Also Autocar awards also gave best engine of the year award. I drove ecosport and it gives goosebumps while driving but mileage they quoted around 14kmpl it will give, So for mileage reasons I dropped the plan for my car upgrade in 2018 and my friend went for Ford aspire petrol due to budget constraints even he wanted to buy this ecosport. If tata combines this engine with altroz and showing success they will get a better name in the industry . Your updation of knowledge and sharing is great Asir bro. Keep doing.

Dear MW Team, Useful insight and happy to follow MW where regular auto info can be obtained. Agree to the point that Altroz will be in buying list for many if we have a good preferably 4 cyl petrol engine and also in their other cars (Nexon, Punch, Tigor, Tiago).

Please do a video about warranty of cars claimed by brands, which are all covers under warranty which are not. Which is useful for new buyers
As a company, Tata should have indigenous engline development tech and should not be dependent on other OEMs for engine or transmission.. similar to Mahindra who have got in house developed superb diesel engline.. There is a risk in depending on other OEMs for engine which is heart of the car

நான் Tiago வய்த்து உள்ளேன் 80000 கிலோ மீட்டர் ஓட்டி விட்டேன் ஆனால் இது வரை இன்ஜின் எந்த செலவும் வைக்க வில்லை. எனது உறவினர் இருவர் Ford Figo diesel கார் வைத்து உள்ளனர் அதிகம் பயன்படுத்துவதும் இல்லை ஆனால் 30000/40000 கிலோ மீட்டரில் இன்ஜின் செலவு வைத்து விட்டது.

All companies having only petrol engines must bring hybrids to satisfy upcoming CAFE emission norms in which passenger cars to have 115gm/ km of Co2 as an average . It can be said as average mileage as 22kmpl.

Hybrid tech which Suzuki uses here is from Toyota but whose hybrid is Suzuki using in global markets since they have hybrid card 3 to 4 years back

Well instes if sharing the engine with Tata Ford has to better share the engine with Toyota. Toyota need it’s own seden under 10 lacs and hatch back under 5 lacs and they need to sell it with an option of Toyotas own engine and Ford engine.
