I think I built the man as the Jaguar Warrior, and the woman as the Eagle Warrior to give different visual options. I also felt they had the most dynamic poses. These new character classes have been a lot of fun.
Love the Jaguar/Eagle Warrior. The "Bare Your Fangs" ability is a favorite. Been screwed over by Darkness and Growing Dread cards pretty often, and being able to 50/50 cancel them after a kill (once per fight, rechargeable by the Eagle) is awesome enough to make it tough to play the game without one of these guys tagging along. The Blood Priestess is great too. Even without casting spells they have some great tricks. Originally I wasn't very interested in the Aztec heroes, since the aren't Conquistadors and I tend to want to play heroes that follow the theme of the box, but Flying Frog really did a great job on those two classes.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll certainly consider when I’m making them up! The blood priestess sounds cool but I don’t believe is available in my area as of yet. :(
@@DieRollin When the Blood Priestess shows up I definitely recommend it. It's a great class. And much like the Jaguar Warrior, it has great models (though you may go a little nuts painting them... there's a lot of little intricate touches on them, including a feather headdresses that looks fantastic).
