Steph! I know of a marker that is the color you are looking for! There is a COPIC marker that actually is that color. The number is V15 and the color is Mallow
"I can't see a price, it must be free" - Adam, being every retail worker's worst nightmare I'm so excited for daily Doodle Date (and I'm glad I'm not the only one who mistakes those cardboard standees for real people as well)! Those battery powered erasers are really good, a friend convinced me to buy one at a convention once and it's really good for erasing small details without damaging the paper so much. I've used the Spectrum Noir Colorista markers, they do have a smaller nib but they can also colour over glitter paper and you can use them on embossed pages too whereas the standard ones won't work properly on it. I think they're intended more for casual colourists than professional artists, but they were still quite fun to use. My local Hobbycraft usually has a bargain bin right next to their ink section so I usually spend a lot of time there too. The shimmery inks are always so tempting! As for your marker dilemma, I had a look through mine and the closest I could find was 82 Light Violet from the Tinge range they used to sell in the Works. They're also called Touch Three online but I don't know if you could buy them individually. Don't know if that's any help at all!
hey Steph, when i want a color of a marker that dont exist i buy the inks and mix it and fill it in an empty marker. or in this case you could mix the Color just with high percentage Ethanol or colorless blender. or did you try copic V15? it Looks for me like this Color you want :)
Oooh thanks so much for the advice!! I've never looked into making alcohol markers before, it sounds fun :D I'll check out the copics you mentioned too ^^ - Steph
I love how in the intro, it's just adam and they both yell "hello art friends!!!" And adam waves while steph's behind the camera waving really excitedly (like she's just like hELLO FRENS I AM HERE!!) 😂 it's adorable 💕
I have this problem where I just want to keep buying sketchbooks, I already have 8 that arent even filled up yet but my problem is sometimes its the cover that makes me want it or the paper or the cheapness I need help
just think of the paper as the ground you run on you get in shape, you don't get in 'shape' if you don't 'run' more. that or just start in a random page first
I love looking through the art section, I rarely buy anything because most supplies are quite expensive, so I only get like maybe a few markers or a gel pen lmao.
Hey, I just want to thank you guys for doing what you do. I recently started visiting my mom again after the divorce. To say that this week is going to be hard is an understatement. It always cheers me up to watch a doodle date and I'm so exited just to see you two hang out and do art ALL WEEK! You both have such a fun personality that radiates cheer. Thanks for all you do!
The spectrum noir ones have smaller nibs, they came out the same time with their coloring books so my guess iss that's it's more directed to coloring pages ?
Thank you for this lovely gift of daily videos for a week! I know it must be a bit stressful to find out what to do and get it all edited, but it was really nice of you to decide to give us so much consecutive content and I want you to know that it's really appreciated!
omg u guys should use your crayola marker maker and put in that ink that you like the colour of into it instead of the pigments it comes with! i think it would be really cool. plz like so adam and steph can see this!!
Hey Steph, markers come out darker on the wrong paper. If you use the marker on marker paper or bristol board, it will dry like the cap. Copics are pretty good with matching the caps to the actual colour of the marker 😊
I love this!! I feel like not many people film themselves buying art supplies and it was fun to watch! As for the Copic color that you really wanted Steph, I'm not sure if it is the exact color you wanted but the Copic Mallow (V15) is a nice purple and it looks really close to the cap on the marker you were holding
Doodle Date Steph! I Think Amethyst Promarker By Winsor And Newton Is Like That Colour You Wanted..If It Is You Are Welcome But If It Isn't Sorry I Couldn't Help
Thank you so much for showing me the paint section in Hobbycraft!!! I kept meaning to look online to see their paint range, but you just gave me a virtual tour around the shop! Can't wait to see what other videos you upload for Daily Doodle Date, I'm sure they'll be awesome like you guys :D
That light purple color you want is really similar to a marker I used long ago by the brand called Ecoline!!^^ It's a Watercolor Brush Pen and the shade is called "Blue Violet"!!💕
Yay DAILY DOODLE DATE! Have a great day! Btw that eraser Adam was looking at it spins so it's very precise. Jazz a has done the eraser only challenge so you can see how that erase works.
To be honest, I love erasers! The most satisfying thing for me is using an erasers up. Also, when ever there are cool erasers I get so excited! Adam, you are not alone.
Download the Copic color swatch sheet from the Copic site. Print it out. The colors will be closer to what you want, but not exact. Desktop printers are based on CMYK output. Base colors for ink are not based on CMYK mixes, so a printed color chart will not be exact to marker color. But getting close will help you find the colors you want.
eraser suggestion: the moo eraser, which erases in ropes instead of all the little dust. also, yes, I am also excited by good erasers, especially erasers that are cute...
How about trying to paint with chocolate on greaseproof or silicon paper so you can eat the results. It is Easter after all! plain milk and white that's three colours and you could add food colouring to white chocolate.
I love watching your older videos as well as recent ones! I am quite fascinated with Erasers , like Adam! I like erasers and markers whenever it comes to shopping for art supplies! Glad to know Im not the only one fascinated with erasers :D
It was lovely so see this in my notifications when I got home from an uneventful boring day of school especially since it was the first day back from spring break
I loved the video guys and I actually was wondering what an art store in the UK looked like so thank you for the insight on that, I hope you guys have a wonderful day! Can't wait until tomorrows video!
We have Artist's Loft brand here in America. They sell it at Michael's. It is an inexpensive brand and I have bought a few of their products. I DO NOT recommend them. Nothing Artist's Loft, that I bought were any good. A couple of examples. I bought a set of 100 markers and about a third were dry and none of the colors were even close to the cap color. I bought a set of 4 brushes and one of them literally fell apart right out of the package. It was a 3" brush that was suppose to have little tacks holding the metal band to the wooden handle. The tacks were never put in. The other brushes had them so I know they were supposed to be there. You might get away with a kneaded eraser but other than that Artist's Loft products are garbage!!!
It's not that bad really, for an inexpensive product it works fine. If you are a beginner I would recommend it, because you wouldn't be so scare to use it due to the fact it is cheap. As for their marker, I brought 3 of them and they work fine really, but I could be just lucky? I still buy their product, mostly just the paint, pencil, marker. I, however do not recommend their sketch book, it tend to start breaking apart on the spine part of the book.
In Central America (more specifically in Honduras), it's so hard to find art supplies! Every time I travel, I buy like a maniac. I find the shopping around very satisfying!! Love you guys!!!
I love the idea of doing eraser drawings! My art professor called it a reductive technique, not sure if that's the typical name though? Also the big art store chain Michaels here in Canada stocks a lot of the artist loft brand stuff, it isn't really the greatest quality but it's cheap!
Hobby craft in my opinion is more of a craft shop than an art shop... My favourite UK art shop is less common and I think it is called "Fred Aldous". The have a website as well ♥ (also no shade but hobbycraft sells it's stuff pretty overpriced most of the time)
I feel weird about how much I enjoyed this video... I think maybe I want doodle date vlogs? I'm not usually a huge vlog watcher but this little shopping trip was effing delightful.
Hey adam and steph! I have a idea for a CHALENGE!! The pastell chalenge! What is it? You only can use pastel/light colours. AND NO BLACK! So use grey lines and pastell colours!:) HOPE YOU GUYS WIL DO IT!
Hey you guys should get a pair of those glasses that Let colorblind people see color normally, if you can that is. Please thumbs this up so that they can see this.
Ivy Ridenhour they said in a past vid that they knew what they were, but they aren't going to buy one because Adam knows what colors are because he is seeing them as the colors they really are.
Haha I just accidentally hit the bottom that hooks RUclips up to the tv and my brother was very confused when his show turned to two English people talking about inks.
My HobbyCraft has a clearance section at the back where old Christmas items go or items that have been taken out of the packaging. You can get massive full sized oil paint tubes for £3 and paint markers go down to 50p. Its honestly so amazing.
In Australia it’s online or you have to go to melbourne or sydney and try and find the very rare family owned tiny art shop in the middle of melbourne or sydney that for some reason has everything unlike the proper art shops that have like two things.
When I saw her wearing that backpack I’m like “me too girl, me too” cause when your an artist, you carry around your sketch book and stuff so you carry around a backpack all the time and everyone stares at you.
I did my best to colour match the winsor and newton ink to a marker. the best I found out of the markers I have are prismacolour brush markers in number 53 and 55. you should look into them :)
The electric eraser spins to eraser, Adam. Upside is you can make a point for thin lines if you wear down the eraser by using it at an angle. Though, not all of America is equal. Your store reminds me of the Hobby Lobby and Micheals I have near me. Pretty limited in art supplies, but loads of decorations and such. I actually just found the Office Depot is where I can get my erasable pencils I love that the other two I mentioned dont carry. Though, Steph, I recommend you test on actual paper for markers. Markers dry differently on different surfaces. Labels are not the best swatch testers.
daily doodle date is the best thing ever
Steph! I know of a marker that is the color you are looking for! There is a COPIC marker that actually is that color. The number is V15 and the color is Mallow

I love how in the intro, it's just adam and they both yell "hello art friends!!!" And adam waves while steph's behind the camera waving really excitedly (like she's just like hELLO FRENS I AM HERE!!) 😂
it's adorable 💕

The actual cutest relationship to ever exist! :)
In America, the brand called Canson is super popular!! It's super weird to not see any Canson paper pads in the English art stores :'))
It's so rare to ever find it here!! O:
Strathmore too...
In Belgium we have Canson a lot too
I have a Canson sketchbook
Ally Jeong i live in America and I never heard of it
Hey, I just want to thank you guys for doing what you do.
I'm so looking forward to this next week! Doodle date everyday!
Two things i really like combined: a video of you two and art supplies
The spectrum noir ones have smaller nibs, they came out the same time with their coloring books so my guess iss that's it's more directed to coloring pages ?
i wanna make a colour called' Barry Grey', especially for barry
I'm also fond of "Essence of Barry"
Doodle Date 😂😂😂😂u guys should create that marker
Doodle Date I think that a color that might satisfy your needs, might be copic's marker -Lilac V04
Hope that helped!😄
It's weird because in America Daler Rowney and artist loft is popular in normal stores but never in art stores
this week is gonna be the best week. YAY FOR DAILY DOODLE DATES!!
We hope you enjoy it!! We're having so much fun with it too ^__^
PrettyMuch Emo ikr
Doodle Date you guys are the most innocent channel on RUclips and I absolutely love your videos

Thank you for this lovely gift of daily videos for a week! I know it must be a bit stressful to find out what to do and get it all edited, but it was really nice of you to decide to give us so much consecutive content and I want you to know that it's really appreciated!
OMG I TOTALLY FORGOT! This was such a pleasant surprise!!! 😄😄😄
LOL We're uploading every day this week!
Hope this helps! HAHA
LovelyHermycat Hermione no I was waiting all morning 😂
LovelyHermycat Hermione I remembered all day then forgot again til I got my notification!
omg u guys should use your crayola marker maker and put in that ink that you like the colour of into it instead of the pigments it comes with! i think it would be really cool. plz like so adam and steph can see this!!
You should do a doodle date where you get stryofoam balls and decorate them to look like each other with string,Pom poems etc
Maya Lyons omg that's so cute
Hey Steph, markers come out darker on the wrong paper. If you use the marker on marker paper or bristol board, it will dry like the cap. Copics are pretty good with matching the caps to the actual colour of the marker 😊
Thank you for blessing my week with daily doodledates 🙏🏼 Love you guys!!! Ü
And thank you for watching! We appreciate everyone so much!
I guess this week is also a kind of thank you to everyone :D
I love this!! I feel like not many people film themselves buying art supplies and it was fun to watch! As for the Copic color that you really wanted Steph, I'm not sure if it is the exact color you wanted but the Copic Mallow (V15) is a nice purple and it looks really close to the cap on the marker you were holding
OMG IT'S TRU DOODLE DATE EVERYDAY
THE RUMORS ARE TRUE, SPREAD THE WORD BLUEKITTYCAT

Lilly the BlueKittyCat yus
Thank you so much for showing me the paint section in Hobbycraft!!! I kept meaning to look online to see their paint range, but you just gave me a virtual tour around the shop! Can't wait to see what other videos you upload for Daily Doodle Date, I'm sure they'll be awesome like you guys :D
You should do a £2 art challenge, in which your supplies have to add up to £2, so you could use one good supply or lots of less good ones!
Beth How much is £2, in American money? Lol
i think adam will be happy to hear that I spend a long time looking at all the erasers/rubbers in my art supply store :)
That light purple color you want is really similar to a marker I used long ago by the brand called Ecoline!!^^
It's a Watercolor Brush Pen and the shade is called "Blue Violet"!!💕
i was so confused when you said you needed rubbers 😅 thank you for clarifying
Annie Widows I
Why?
Bleuness I’m late but in America, “rubbers” are another word for condoms lol
If you want a Copic marker similar to that colour, I suggest the V04 Lilac marker
V05 is also great!
Vanyci _
V04 and V05 are good choices (Copic wise)
V04 (Lilac) or V05 (Marigold) are good choices
I love the art sections in stores mostly because of all of the colors and the ideas that I get by looking at them.
the highlight of my entire life
i am absolutely in love with your channel ^-^
D'aww thank you so much!
We love you too!
I loved this vid. I could watch you guys walk around these same few aisles for hours. It makes me wish I had someone to go art supply shopping with.
Yay DAILY DOODLE DATE! Have a great day! Btw that eraser Adam was looking at it spins so it's very precise. Jazz a has done the eraser only challenge so you can see how that erase works.

also, yes, I am also excited by good erasers, especially erasers that are cute...
Rory Moyers yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Someone agrees with me!
How about trying to paint with chocolate on greaseproof or silicon paper so you can eat the results. It is Easter after all! plain milk and white that's three colours and you could add food colouring to white chocolate.
Shall remain nameless Fun2Draw?
I understand you Adam. I LOVE fresh new erasers and I love peeling off the plastic!!
I have the battery rubber thing, it spins sideways super fast and makes it effortless to erase things
Luke McCarthy I do aswell
I use mine to lift coloured pencil that strayed outside the lines. Works awesome. Just have to use a light hand or it will tear the paper.
You guys are probably my favourite youtubers- even your shopping videos are so interesting and funny!!
Steph! I do so much marker art and I own the perfect shade of pinky-purple that you want! It's a Windsor and Newton marker, and its name is amethyst!
I love watching your older videos as well as recent ones! I am quite fascinated with Erasers , like Adam! I like erasers and markers whenever it comes to shopping for art supplies! Glad to know Im not the only one fascinated with erasers :D
Woah 3$ Copic ciaos?! In most stores that I shop for copic ciaos in the US they are 5-6$ range!
you guys are both super adorable
It was lovely so see this in my notifications when I got home from an uneventful boring day of school especially since it was the first day back from spring break
Art supply shopping has to be one of my favourite things to do, even though most of the time i never actually buy anything 😂❤
Love content like this! There needs to be more of this sort of thing for artists.
Is an eraser the same thing as a rubber?
Aanyah C yes
Rubbers can be another name for condoms. I have people call t
deysi gonzalez XD
Aanyah C yes x
Yes, they are the same
I almost forgot, daily doodle dates! This is gonna be an awesome week!!
Liked for the sap green.
Hesitated because of lack of Barry.
You two are so much braver now that you're actually filming in a store! I enjoyed the video, looking forward to tomorrow's :D
Are we officially called notification mushrooms 🍄 BECAUSE IF SO THAT IS BEAUTIFULLLLLLLL
I loved the video guys and I actually was wondering what an art store in the UK looked like so thank you for the insight on that, I hope you guys have a wonderful day! Can't wait until tomorrows video!
I know your pain.
The UK hasn't got very good choice compared to America.
lol I forgot about a video a day! Yippee!!😆🎉🎊
i actually get so excited about rubbers!! every time i see a cool rubber at the shops i have to get, they're so cool!
*sap green will haunt you*
Omg !!!!!!! IM NOT THE ONLY ONE TO GET EXCITED ABOUT ERASERS!!!!
Oh I got a marker holder by Artist's Loft for Christmas and it's just fine. Is Artists's loft really that bad?
Temporal Dog That sucks, Did you get a refund?
It's not that bad really, for an inexpensive product it works fine. If you are a beginner I would recommend it, because you wouldn't be so scare to use it due to the fact it is cheap. As for their marker, I brought 3 of them and they work fine really, but I could be just lucky? I still buy their product, mostly just the paint, pencil, marker.
I, however do not recommend their sketch book, it tend to start breaking apart on the spine part of the book.
I have set of their brushes and I haven't had any issues as well as a few of their markers.
I use their graphite pencils that are pretty cheap
I love erasers too Adam! The ability to redo is fantastic!
Is that Barry?
BARRYYYYY?!
In Central America (more specifically in Honduras), it's so hard to find art supplies! Every time I travel, I buy like a maniac. I find the shopping around very satisfying!! Love you guys!!!
I LOVE ERASERS! Lol I also get overly excited about them... (also into pencil art)
I love the idea of doing eraser drawings! My art professor called it a reductive technique, not sure if that's the typical name though? Also the big art store chain Michaels here in Canada stocks a lot of the artist loft brand stuff, it isn't really the greatest quality but it's cheap!
Do a snack date on the American sweets (if you didn't eat them already)
I got an eraser for Christmas and it was my favorite present😂 I LOVE ERASERS!
I CAME AS SOON AS I HEARD
Peridot is that you!?
Doodle Date Yes it is
Peridot Nerd 010 Sebastian! Is that you?!
Peridot Nerd 010 all the way from london? damn...
All the way from London? Damn.
I'm British and I love that you are doing an English version of these videos this is soo helpful
Hobby craft in my opinion is more of a craft shop than an art shop... My favourite UK art shop is less common and I think it is called "Fred Aldous". The have a website as well ♥ (also no shade but hobbycraft sells it's stuff pretty overpriced most of the time)
itzo_art_lover you shouldn't say that in front of a very devoted hobbycraft employee(me)
I can't stand 10 minutes of shopping with my mom, but I can watch these guys shop for hours.
THIS IS A REVALOUTION!!! THERE IS NO POLL ON A DOODLEDATE VIDEO!
tiger . lester I was devastated
tiger . lester the phandom is everywhere
Kitty Flood I am depressed now 😩
I feel weird about how much I enjoyed this video... I think maybe I want doodle date vlogs? I'm not usually a huge vlog watcher but this little shopping trip was effing delightful.

You should do more shopping videos! I love them!
Hey adam and steph! I have a idea for a CHALENGE!! The pastell chalenge! What is it?
You only can use pastel/light colours. AND NO BLACK! So use grey lines and pastell colours!:)
HOPE YOU GUYS WIL DO IT!
You two are like my favourite artists oml
Hey you guys should get a pair of those glasses that Let colorblind people see color normally, if you can that is. Please thumbs this up so that they can see this.
Presumably you mean the Enchroma glasses
Ivy Ridenhour they said in a past vid that they knew what they were, but they aren't going to buy one because Adam knows what colors are because he is seeing them as the colors they really are.
Ivy Ridenhour they're a waste of time, honestly my uncle purchased some and the colours changed slightly according to the light
That would be awesome, but I've heard those glasses are really expensive. O_O
sounds like a cool idea but what is the point of this? I mean they aren't colorblind :// sorry if I sound inconsiderate vv
Your not the only one Adam!!! I squealed when I saw some rubbers once!!! :)
Haha I just accidentally hit the bottom that hooks RUclips up to the tv and my brother was very confused when his show turned to two English people talking about inks.
I remember I was grounded when y'all were uploading everyday, so instead of cleaning my house,,,,I just,,,, secretly watched these videos
8:40
Adam "It's there"
Steph *shrieks*
Also,I love your videos and you two are incredible artists! You really inspire me to continue with art!
"I need some rubbers" I died 😂🤣
it's almost 3 am at the moment and I want to buy art supplies now.
Anyways, thanks for making my day, I can't wait for the next video tomorrow/today!
I get exited about erasers ✏️
My HobbyCraft has a clearance section at the back where old Christmas items go or items that have been taken out of the packaging. You can get massive full sized oil paint tubes for £3 and paint markers go down to 50p. Its honestly so amazing.
I know a pinkie-purple marker. its a winsor and Newton marker called amethyst. only downside is the it's a promarker.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets excited over erasers!
In my state in the US you have to order almost everything online cause art stores here barely have anything in them
Alice Katt Same!
In the Netherlands we have the same problem. :(
For some reason I don't you just have to look around for me.
Alice Katt EXACTLY SOMEONE FEELS MY STRUGGLE
In Australia it’s online or you have to go to melbourne or sydney and try and find the very rare family owned tiny art shop in the middle of melbourne or sydney that for some reason has everything unlike the proper art shops that have like two things.
When I saw her wearing that backpack I’m like “me too girl, me too” cause when your an artist, you carry around your sketch book and stuff so you carry around a backpack all the time and everyone stares at you.
is it just me or do all hobby crafts look the same?
Alice Green they literally do and they all have the same stuff
greengentlemen that's how chain stores work
welcome to the world of chain stores
Alice Green TRUE AS HELL
IKR!
I did my best to colour match the winsor and newton ink to a marker. the best I found out of the markers I have are prismacolour brush markers in number 53 and 55. you should look into them :)
draw with chaaaaaalk!!!
The electric eraser spins to eraser, Adam. Upside is you can make a point for thin lines if you wear down the eraser by using it at an angle. Though, not all of America is equal. I actually just found the Office Depot is where I can get my erasable pencils I love that the other two I mentioned dont carry. Though, Steph, I recommend you test on actual paper for markers. Markers dry differently on different surfaces. Labels are not the best swatch testers.
if you want a color like the light purple it's copic V15 Mallow
Its true, when I find a good eraser it feels like christmas, you arent the only one who gets excited over them Adam ^-^
