If you don't want the spin script, you can make the particle simply by setting the particle emitter to a dust particle, set it to a size bigger than the black hole then set its orientation to velocity perpendicular. set its lifetime to 0.1 and set rate to 500. for the spin, set rotation speed to 360, 720

this is a great tutorial I used a simplified version with just the smoke particles and it still looks amazing

Its fine, in the code you can adjust the speed and even the angle the disc spins at. Just make sure you dont make it too fast.
