How to do roblox VFX!!! This will help all the newbies which don't know how particles work, sorry for being somewhat confusing in the execution of the video, you can still see that the final product is somewhat decent even if it's a sample I guess?
This is the 1st part, which includes more beginner friendly things, the next part will include messing with attachments and a few scripts.
The mentioned line of code for size bypass: game:GetService('Selection'):Get()[1].Size = NumberSequence.new({NumberSequenceKeypoint.new(0, 0), NumberSequenceKeypoint.new(1,20)})

It is actually very frustrating how fast the captions go by. Especially when you are trying to get a good grasp of the information. The video is already 30 minutes long, and I find myself pausing each second.

This was very helpful gave me so many tips and tricks I never knew
if you find it too laggy after loading it in just move the whole thing from the explorer into replicated storage and put them in workspace one by one

seems like you were drunk making part 2though
bro tip: use ros particle editor because you can bypass sizes with it and also it haves things that can be very useful for certain stuff
I personally don't like it and just use the roblox command bar for upscaling particles and etc... I'll probably get around it whenever i feel like learning it

You know that a particle pack is high quality if "you could crash a few times" from using it.
you can also use meshparts, they dont have issues with emit()
I hope this video teachs me advanced stuff cuz i know all the settings

I'm just mentioning that this tutorial is not for VFX as a whole but just how to use the ParticleEmitter which is only a small part of VFX
You're still gonna have to learn how to program in Lua and all that

@@Basketballlegendclips Blender is not 100% required but I think it is a lot better for animating 3D VFX, I'm not fully sure thoough.
@@preque1313 this isnt true lol we rarely script, i'd say like 70% of vfx is particle emitters, 20% is beams, 8% is trails and 2% is scripting, if any

Yes, this specific tutorial is for the Particle Emitter itself. VFX is very broad and doesn't have to invole particles at all.
You could use 3d meshes to make sword slashes aswell if you wanted to

it's because i don't have X followers on roblox so i can't be verified, but I own a studio (PDS) with various small games, you shouldn't trust people which aren't known and look like scams, this is definitely not the case being one, you can also look at my past videos or join my community server to see yourself that there are no malicious actions involved.@@chadou972oyaaa8
If you're unconfident just remove whatever script there is in the pack, which roblox indicates first and how many, if it doesnt notify scripts youre 100% secure. Backdoors use scripts to access games, and they're pretty much dead at this point.
