The following book is very informative in relation to the stories of which Kevin speaks in this interview - "The Yank: My Life as a Former US Marine in the IRA" by former Marine Corps Sergeant John Crawley, 2022 April 1975. A young Irish-American from Long Island, NY, is on a mission to enlist in an elite unit of the US Marine Corps. His goal: to receive the most intensive and rigorous military training possible, and then move to Ireland to join the IRA and fight to end British occupation of the six counties of Northern Ireland.

I love and miss every second of the jobs I had and at the same time understand that it has far to many cancers and parasites allowing these people to conduct unsafe ops to look good just to lead to the harm of troops. I'm sorry to any and all who have suffered. I hope we can come together and heal and help our future brother, sisters, and even our children who decide to serve. That's our new duty.
