    観光客向けでない井の頭公園を選んだのは良い選択ですね。そこはパンデミック以前は、日曜日に多くのアーティストがパフォーマンスを観せていた場所です。そして井の頭公園は桜の名所でもあります。

    That is amazing that someone gave you the tickets to the museum! Things like that can really make a trip extra special. The colors of the trees, and the buildings are so vivid your pictures and video are amazing! If I was in your room, I would have my face pressed to the window watching the trains the whole time I was in the room. The number of them moving through that station must be astronomical.

    I especially appreciate this vlog. Saw a part of the world that I didn't know existed.
    I'm looking forward to trying the Brightline train from Orlando to South Florida, although it's nowhere near as fast as the bullet trains in Japan and other parts of the world.
    Thanks for sharing Jen.

      I love hearing that, Will, as that's a main goal of mine - we got to experience it TOGETHER! And yes report back on the Brightline! I feel like high speed rail could be such a fantastic thing for the US I wish we could embrace it more.

As for the free tickets, I am a huge believer that the kindness and generosity you put on, is returned to you. So glad you got to have that special experience! And the gardens were beautiful!

    I love this series so much. Tokyo is on my bucket list, but I’m a little intimidated to actually go since I don’t speak Japanese and I don’t want to be disrespectful by butchering the language if I try. 🤦‍♀️

    • @miyalykins740
      @miyalykins740 Год назад +2

      I am half Japanese and Japanese who see you are trying to speak their language will be thrilled and will not feel you are butchering the language. They may giggle (they do with me all the time since I’m not fluent) but they definitely will love that you are trying!!

    I'm so glad you enjoyed Kenroku-en! It is amazing there. I've never seen it in the spring, my husband and I have only gone in November and it is spectacular then too. It is too bad about the old-style village, the buildings are beautiful and you can go shopping for products edged in gold. Gilting is one of the big industries in Kanazawa.
    Although Kyoto is spectacular, Kanazawa is truly lovely and a little less crowded to visit too. Maybe next time you can come to my part of Japan, Tohoku!
