ALVIN SOWARD we have been many many times all over the island and must agree the people are truly remarkable, been to many Greek islands and mainland but the cretins are by far the warmest
ALVIN SOWARD I also utterly love Greece. It's my favorite country on the planet. The 80% mountains and breathtaking landscapes, the 16.000 km crystal-clear coastline, the 6000 islands each unique, the unparalleled history, the heavenly cuisine, the beautiful people with incredible hospitality. The incredible culture, breathtaking towns and villages dotted around the landscapes, mountains and coast. It's the combination of all the factors combined, that makes Greece truly unique. There are exceptionally few countries to have all these aspects within one country. But what makes it even truly rare is that in Greece you can do ALL of it on one day, every day.
I grew up on the beaches, sat at the Tavern overlooking the sea, watching sunsets, savor Mezze, coffee, olives, and ouzo, Greek Fivos twinkling eyes, dancing with ALL the pretty ladies (all were pretty;), and nights that never ended. Sweet memories. OPA.

I just love the amazing beauty of Greek s Islands and I ve been till now in Corfu but I ve loved most my trip in Zakynthos cause I travelled a lot on the sea,I ve seen there the Blue Caves,Navaro beach and the National Biologycal Park of Caretta s Turtles.What I ve loved most ? The colors of the sea,the strips of smarald color on the blue sea and of course what we had been seeing behind any boats crossing the sea ,white waves I think I have over 200 photos surpriding them....And Zakynthos nights when all was full of life,a lot of young people socializing in authentic Greek tavernas or in the clubs,like those of Admiral,Captain and Commodore s hotels.More than this I ve apreciated that all was illuminated like in Las Vegas or Monte Carlo.....I felt being alive all the 8 days and seven nights of parties there and it happened in June 2018 as if I knew that in 2019 would come the Covid disaster.Even I ll not reach Greece so soon I have those memories in a special place of my heart and my soul without any doubt !
If you never visit Greece, sit in a taverna, have a coffee, eat their food, immerse in their culture, walk in the footsteps of the ancients, dance with your eyes closed, soak in their waters, breathe their air, listen to their stories you will never come close to understanding the meaning of life.

I wish EU would come further together and each and everyone would learn from each other accept what's good about another culture and way of life. Accepting differences. Some 35 years ago on a business trip to Athens I lost my wallet in town, The police called that a nice lady had the wallet waiting for me at the station. Of course I invited her to share a night out and there are wonderful, warm memories of the Greek people. I am re-enjoying this music as I prepare a Greek lunch today.

I’m from Serbia. I visited Greece almost every year in last 17 years. I’ve been to Thasos mostly, but i also visited Pefkochori when i was little, as well as Leptokarya. In this 17 years i didn’t have better experience but here at Greece. Great music, food and beaches. Sea is just beautiful. I like to lay down and eat Gyros while listening to this near water. I’m from Serbia. I visited Greece almost every year in last 17 years. I’ve been to Thasos mostly, but i also visited Pefkochori when i was little, as well as Leptokarya. In this 17 years i didn’t have better experience but here at Greece. Great music, food and beaches. Sea is just beautiful. I like to lay down and eat Gyros while listening to this near water. Thank you Greece for great memories. Love from Serbia ❤
