This woman had style and talent all of her own that eclipsed so many others in her Industry. Her free style dancing went perfectly with this song. I remember the clubs back then when they played this song everyone would head to the floor and do these same moves as close as they could. It was awesome!!!

The more I listen to this song now it has that Prince sound to it. I wonder if he produced this under a ghost name like he did Manic Monday for the Bangles. Listen closely to the guitars. Maybe Jody herself can answer this question if Prince helped out on this song. Great song! 🔥⭐️👍😃

@jodywatley Great song! Andre used to play in Princes early band so he stilll has some of that Prince Minnesota sound on the guitars. It’s too bad you never did a duet with Prince or maybe you did. Will you ever tour the east coast again? You have many fans here. ⭐️😃🔥👍
Maybe you can play Atlantic City, NJ soon. You can team up with someone like Paula Abdul/ Taylor Dayne/ Expose/SWV/ Monica and sell out the arenas easily in AC. Then your east coast fans can come to see you. Less travel for you. I know touring is tough. Or you can play 2 weeks at a theatre on Broadway in nyc. Please think about it. 👍😃
