Great exposure of the popular Christian cliques surrounding “being saved” , the two gospels makes sense from several angles ! ❤see Martin Zender’s first idiot in heaven
The only two issues I had with your talk was that very very few translations are accurate and the KJV is one of the worst !
The other more serious issue was the comment right near the end that effectively places the act to be “saved” on the recipient
    “You just need to….”

I beg to differ from your interpretation on Gal2:7, 8 where you implied Paul and Peter were preaching two different gospels.
These other apostles gave their approval to Paul's message and accepted that Christ had commissioned Paul specifically to take the gospel to non-Jewish people around the world. Peter, in a similar way, had been sent by Jesus to preach the gospel to "the circumcised," the Jewish people who had previously followed the law of Moses.
The important point was that though Paul and Peter preached to different groups of people, they preached exactly the same message: All must come to salvation by God's grace through faith in Christ.Further "the uncircumcision and circumcision" are meant the Gentiles and Jews; see ( rom 2:26 rom 2:27 ) ( 3:30 ) by the Gospel of the one, and the Gospel of the other, two Gospels are not designed, for there is but one Gospel, and not another.
Paul did not preach one Gospel unto the uncircumcised Gentiles, and Peter another to the circumcised Jews; but the same Gospel was preached by both, and is so called with respect to the different persons to whom it was preached by these apostles. Your assertion two gospels being preached is merely your assumption as in the texts never intend to communicate that was claimed by you. (Rom1:16).
You cited Acts15:11 Peter acknowledged he and Paul believe that all saved the same way, by the undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus.' Thus they must be adhering to the same gospel message and it was further alluding to Gal2:7 as Peter and Paul were allocated a different ministry consisted of two groups of people and obviously preaching the same gospel as the text implied. You quoted Gal2:9 further added “they have two ministry but they were working together , going to two different groups with two different gospels” .
You’re reading into the text and it doesn’t mean that as it merely stated they were send to two groups but never affirmed with two gospels. The bible never taught of two gospels, one that requires works by faith and the other that we are saved by grace through faith not of works. The bible explicitly stated; “ Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” But you asserted there is another gospel preached by Peter to the Jews which apparently is not true because there is only one gospel for all sinners irrespective of Jews or Gentiles. Obviously, there is only gospel of grace and not of works as they are mutually exclusive and to assert the Jews were saved by their works by faith is unbiblical.
Please may I ask, where you derived your notion from Genesis 1 that there is of the gospel of the uncircumcision is God’s purpose is to bring restoration to the earth and the gospel of the circumcision is to bring restoration to the heavens which all saints are part of. Frankly, this is my first time I heard of such a gospel and please I want to seek your enlightenment of such a notion as you have suggested. Further you stressed the saints upon death will be in heaven with the Lord forever and will not be coming back and only Israel every single one of them will be resurrected one day and they will partake in the millennial kingdom.
You quoted Rev22:21 which says t is completely by the grace of our Lord Jesus that God saves sinners, provides for all their needs, allows them to serve Him, and keeps them until the final day of redemption. You alluded to 1Cor15 and certainly there is only one gospel For Jews and Gentiles and not two gospels as you affirmed and it is about Christ died for our sins and that he was buried, rose again on the third day. Likewise Peter preached the same gospel in Acts15:7, 11 as Paul taught and Peter said they, the Jews, believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ they shall be saved, even as they, the Gentiles. This verse is in parallel to your quoted verse in Ephesians2:8, 9 which is the same gospel as the Jews. So it amazed me how you taught the Jews were taught by Peter a different gospel based on works by faith which evidently contradicted the scripture.
You quoted Gal3 and it was Paul that stated there is only one gospel and how is that you claimed there are two gospels. If you implied that Peter taught the Jews a work by faith gospel in order to be saved then you’re teaching another gospel and ultimately all the Jews will be damned. Thank you.

@@faithplusnothing Paul has just written that God is the God of both the Jews and the Gentiles. Many Jewish people throughout Israel's history might have objected to that statement. In their minds, God was Israel's God. The Gentile nations worshiped a collection of other gods and idols, so they could not claim the One True God as their own…
.Paul's point however is that "God is one." In other words, there are no other gods. Gentiles will not stand before the judgment seat of Baal, or Zeus, or any other false god after they die. Those gods literally do not exist. Rather, all people, Jews and Gentiles alike, are accountable to the one, true God for their sin and for their faith…
In both cases, the only hope to be declared righteous by God, to be justified, is faith in Christ. When it comes to that judgment, God will justify the circumcised, meaning Jewish people, and the uncircumcised, meaning everyone else, through faith in Christ. The people of Israel have some advantage in their special relationship to God (Romans 3:1-2), but they will be held accountable to the exact same standards as anyone else (Romans 3:9-10)…
Please interpret for me; Col2:14-17 and Rom7:4-6. Thank you.

    • @faithplusnothing
      @faithplusnothing 2 года назад

      @Tan Ewelee
Is that your interpretation of Romans 3:30? Justification is a result of salvation, meaning you're sealed, you cant loose it. My interpretation is that Jews had to demonstrate or show obedience to God, which was "by" their faith. But, to the Body of Christ believer, we are justified "through" our trusting and believing, not doing something.
As for the verses on Colossians 2: 14-17, the ordinances against us, are what? The "thou shalt not's", the 10 commandments were only given to man, to show us we can't keep them, and our need of a savior. Paul calls them a ministration of death. One Sunday afternoon, my neighbor saw me cutting my lawn, he told me, I shouldn't work on the Lord's day, and my response was, "we should give everyday to the Lord".
Religion has adopted so called, "Holy Days" like Christmas, Easter etc..., which are pagan. People in general have pagan tendencies, celebrating birthdays, in doing so, even Christianity has adopted Christmas as celebrating Christ's birthday, was He even born on December 25th? Christmas is just a commercialized machine that can't be stopped, it has always fueled the economy. As for Easter, do we only celebrate Christ resurrection one day a year?
Regarding Romans 7: 4-6, since by the law is the knowledge of sin, and could never save us, some people accuse us of throwing around the word GRACE as license to sin, but I tell people our salvation is not license to sin, but license NOT to sin, where before we lived under the law's thumb, we had no power over sin, but now we do.

Who is really teaching “Replacement Theology” ?
(Did God fulfill His promises to the Jewish people at Calvary? Matthew 26:28, John 19:30)
The advocates of modern Dispensational Theology often accuse others of promoting “Replacement Theology”, or some may even say “Antisemitism”. What does the Bible say about their accusations?
    1. Who is replacing Christ as the seed of Abraham through which all the families of the Earth would be blessed in Genesis 12:3, with Abraham’s modern descendants? (See Galatians 3:8)
    2. Who is replacing the one people of God in John 10:16, with two peoples of God ?
    3. Who is replacing the one seed (Christ) in Galatians 3:16, with the many seeds?
    4. Who is replacing the children of the promise in Romans 9:8, with the children of the flesh?
    5. Who is replacing the faithful “remnant” of Israelites in Romans 11:1-5, with the Baal worshipers?
    6. Who is replacing the word "so" in Romans 11:26, with the word "then"?
    7. Who is attempting to replace the Church made up of all races of people, with one made up only of Gentiles? Why did Peter address the crowd as “all the house of Israel” in Acts 2:36, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted Christ on the Day of Pentecost?
    8. Based on Hebrews 9:15, the New Covenant cannot be separated from the Messiah’s death. Is the covenant in Daniel 9:27 connected to the Messiah’s death in Daniel 9:26. Is the covenant with the “many” in Daniel 9:27 the same covenant with the “many” in Matthew 26:28? If it is, some have replaced the New Covenant in Daniel 9:27 with a future covenant made by an antichrist not found in Daniel chapter 9. (See the 1599 Geneva Bible used by the Pilgrims.)
    9. Those promoting the Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology often accuse others of teaching “Replacement Theology”, but are they the masters of it? Are they promoting a form of Dual Covenant Theology based on race? (See “genealogies” in Titus 3:9) Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis?
    10. Watch the RUclips video “Genesis of Dispensational Theology” to see the origin of this man-made doctrine, which is less than 200 years old. It was brought to the United States about the time of the Civil War by John Nelson Darby. The doctrine was later incorporated into the notes of the Scofield Reference Bible, and then spread through much of the modern Church.
Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas Texas was created in part to promote John Darby’s Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology.
Lewis Sperry Chafer, the first president of Dallas Theological, had the following to say about the difference between Israel and the Church:

“The dispensationalist believes that throughout the ages God is pursuing two distinct purposes: one related to the earth with earthly people and earthly objectives involved which is Judaism; while the other is related to heaven with heavenly people and heavenly objectives involved, which is Christianity.”
Lewis Sperry Chafer, Dispensationalism (Dallas, Seminary Press, 1936), p. 107.
Chafer states that, ‘Israel is an eternal nation, heir to an eternal land, with an eternal kingdom, on which David rules from an eternal throne,’ that is, on earth and distinct from the church who will be in heaven.”
Lewis Sperry Chafer. Systematic Theology. 1975. Vol. IV. pp. 315-323.
John Walvoord, another prominent voice of Dallas Theological stated…
"...it is an article of normative dispensational belief that the boundaries of the land promised to Abraham and his descendants from the Nile to the Euphrates will be literally instituted and that Jesus Christ will return to a literal and theocratic Jewish kingdom centred on a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. In such a scheme the Church on earth is relegated to the status of a parenthesis.”
    John F. Walvoord, The Rapture Question.1979, p. 25
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------
Are there two peoples of God in John 10:16? (See also 1 John 2:22-23, 2 John 1:7-11.)
What is the land promise to the Old Testament Saints in Hebrews 11:15-16?
Based on 2 Peter 3:10-13, is this earth “eternal”? Will it be replaced by a new earth?
Based on Acts 2:36, and Romans 9:6-8, and Romans 11:1-5, and Hebrews 12:22-24, and James 1:1-3, can faithful Israel and the Church be separated into two different groups?
Who is the New Covenant promised to in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and Hebrews 8:6-13?
Will modern Orthodox Jews ever be saved outside of the New Covenant Church?

Two gospels, what nonsense. Lack of comprehension brings falsehood; its mockery of God’s omniscience. Didn’t God prophesied ahead of time thru the prophets that Israel will reject (Isaiah 53:3) its messiah when he comes? Even Jesus was aware of this, see Luke 19:41-44; wherefore he mentions what will happen to Jerusalem since they will reject him. On that, earlier on, John’s (the Baptist) gospel of the kingdom definitely carries with it the Old Testament, for the dispensation of grace was still nil. His water baptism on repentance was to prepare the way for the messiah. But Jesus on the other hand, did baptism perceptive of the fact that it also applies to the gospel of grace, when the time comes. For he as the messiah, rejected by his peers, (Psalm 69:8) will not be prevented from being the deliverer/savior of all people from sin. Whereas, his finished work (death, burial and resurrection) will lead to true repentance/sanctification of those who have faith in Him, preached thru his disciples, see Matt. 28:18-19; cf. Titus 2:11-15. Therefore, the gospel kingdom, after his death and resurrection, carries with it the new agreement, as grace, and no longer that of the Old Testament. For wasn’t the kingdom placed virtually on earth, thru the church (body of Christ) with Jesus the head over it, seated at His father’s right hand in the heavenly realms? Wherefore, the body of Christ (church) was installed three days from resurrection, which consists of all people who believed in Him; starting with the Jews (500 of them initially; 1 Cor. 15:3-7) and then gentile believers added to it. Note that in the gospel of Peter, is mentioned Christ’s finished work, (Acts 2:22-24; and 31-33) for the remission of sin, thus he said be baptized every one of you.

@@faithplusnothing The Gospel is the Good News that the Father out of His love to humanity has sent His only Son as a man, who lived a sinless life of pleasing The Father in every way in perfect obedience even unto suffering the worst suffering and death on the cross to be The Atoning Sacrifice for our sins, that whoever BELIEVES in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
But the Word of God is much better and the Gospel is summarized in John3:16 : For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
The above is the summary of the Gospel but the whole New Testament and all the prophecies about the Good News is The Gospel. When the angel Gabriel appeared to Zechariah, the father of John ... the Gospel was being announced to Zechariah and the same to the Good News declared by the same angel to Mary, the mother of The Lord Jesus. Every verse and every chapter of the New Testament is The Gospel - that is why it is called The Gospel acording to Matthew, The Gospel according to Mark, The Gospel according to Luke, The Gospel according to John. All four Gospels recorded the life, ministry, death and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus.
The Book of Acts is the accounts of the Apostles of the Good News.
The Epistles of Paul, Peter, John, James, Jude, even the epistle to Hebrews are all part of the Good News. Even the Book of Revelation.
The Preaching of the Gospel was started by John the Baptist :
Repent and Believe The Good News.
The first preaching of The Gospel of the Lord Jesus was the same: Repent and Believe The Good News.
Paul summarized the Gospel as he received it and lived The Gospel: he said in Galatians 2:20 that " I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live but Christ lives in me and the life I now live in the body, I live by faith in The Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Do yourself a favor and search up all the, But Now's" in scripture, God has changed the way He deals with us, what was before was good, but now its better. Oh, by the way, today's gospel is
1 Corinthians 15: 1-4, read it, the four gospels do not apply it as our saving grace.
Peter told Israel they had killed their Messiah, but Paul tells us that He, (Christ) died for us, do you see the difference? We dispensationialist believe the whole Bible is truth, but we must separate it, that doesn't mean we pick and choose what applies, but we rightly divide it. The Apostle Paul was designated as the Apostle of the Gentiles, but he went to the Jew first, that's why you see him water baptizing, healing or speaking in tongues, but later as the message changed, did he loose those gifts or did they fade off the scene? One example I share with people on how we rightly divide the scriptures is when Jesus told His followers unless they forgave one another, their Father in Heaven would not forgive them, (Matthew 6: 14-15), that meant forgive or less, but the Apostle Paul tells us something different in Ephesians 4: 32, that is that we have already been forgiven.

      PETER AND PAUL DIFFERENT GOSPELS
Peter: Acts 3:20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Acts 3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
Paul: Rom 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept since the world began,
This same mystery is mentioned in Eph 3:9 and Col 1:26. Notice "my gospel" and "kept secret". Paul also in relationship to HIS gospel uses the words, "hid" and "unsearchable".

      Hi
      There is only one gospel
      The gospel of the kingdom
Jesus said it was for ALL nations then the end
Not ‘for the Jews until Paul’
      Mat 24
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
The disciples preached the gospel of the kingdom after Jesus ascended to heaven
      Acts 8
12 But when they believed Philip as he preached the gospel of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
The Book of Acts literally ends with Paul preaching the kingdom
      Acts 28
30 For two whole years Paul lived in his own rented place and welcomed everyone who came to him.
31 He continued to preach about the kingdom of God and to teach boldly and freely about the Lord Jesus, the Messiah.
The gospel of grace is the gospel of the kingdom
      It’s the same thing
      Acts 20
24 But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may accomplish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. 25 And now, behold, I know that all you among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom will see my face no more.
->to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. 25 And now, behold, I know that all you among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom
      There is no “two gospels”
That wasn’t even really a thing until 1830 I think
The one gospel is the kingdom
Which Jesus, the apostles and Paul preached

@@mitchellc4 What bible are you using? It is not the word of God that you are quoting me. The KJV is the only accurate English translation.
