As of July 14, 2024, on Bedrock Edition (up to date in terms of updates, I believe) this works. One thing I would recommend is to put a torch or some other light source in the basement to prevent mobs from spawning down there.
Thank you for the comment, it is absolutely correct that the torch should have been placed there, I often forget to do this in the videos.
This works great on bedrock 1.20, just make sure if you want the discount, the villager must have a profession while being zombified! If it is a villager with no job (especially one from a villager breeder), it will not come out of this zombifier with a discount after it is given a job. make sure it has a job going into this converter to get your discount!
Thanks for the information
Huge huge info
?? Is that how it works on bedrock? Ive been a Java player for years and recently have been using bedrock temporarily and they've never needed jobs beforehand
@@frazure757 Yes, before you enter the villager into the farm, you must give him the desired job and trade with him once
@@cyrus80is that locked the trade?
Used this on my Realm server. Worked like a charm, thanks!
Glad to hear that ☺️
You cannot get it done more than once to a villager for bigger discounts per the most recent update. Otherwise should work fine.
Thank you for saying
Do we know which update on bedrock? Does it have a toggle on off like villager trade rebalance does? Or is it in the trade rebalance?
I am on the most recent update of Java, and this seems to be the case based on one test I did. Is this a real, standing nerf? I knew they were nerfing villagers, but I didn't think it was already happening without opting into the test.
i downgraded my world from 1.20.4 to 1.20. then it worked
Is this really true? Re-infecting the same zombie has no further impact on trades?
Haha!
A simple and fun design. 🙃
I will try it in my survival world, but I will take my time to add details and, if possible, improve it. ✨
Get my like... It's free. :)
Sounds great, thanks for the comment 😊❤️
You can also use tipped arrows and it is much cheaper with them as 1 potion can make a stack of arrows
Good idea 👍
Thank you for this very helpful video. It was just what I was looking for. :)
Glad it was helpful!
I know it is so on java, but are the discounts permanent on bedrock aswell?
As far as I know, yes
Yes
Uh no, recent update can't make it permanent. And next update will make the Minecraft trading system the worst.
My villagers are always falling down where the piston is any ideas why?
Perhaps a bug. But you can put a slime piston insted and use a block on the place where the villager should fall.
Are you sure that the piston is on when you insert the Villager in there?
Does the lower price stay after this? When I trade normally the lower price always increase over time back to the original price
When you trade, the price goes up, but after a while it returns to the same price with a discount
My zombie keeps killing the villager
The difficulty of the game should be on the hard
Cool idea
Glad you think so!
I think u can also give the zombie a block instead of naming it
Yes, you can do this, but it doesn't work on all zombies, that's why I showed a better way.
So the traps doors seem to be making it to where my drowned can’t hit the villagers or doesn’t see them, what’s the fix?
In which version did you test Java or Bedrock Edition?
I had the same issue on bedrock. I even tried dropping the drowned on half slabs, and that didn’t work.
I did some research, and both mobs are 1.9 blocks tall. However drowned only attack villagers when it is night time or dark.
Couldn’t get the drowned to work, so I just replaced it with a regular zombie and it worked fine.
can i convert villager into zombie multiple time and cure at least 5 time to get super low discount i am playing at bedrock recent update version need to know 🤔🙌
I don't think it is necessary to heal Villager 5 times, but yes, you can do it until the price of his items is 1 emerald.
Doesn't work anymore
@@Notexactlydat It works without problems
@cyrus80 I think what @Nakkisipulis means is that you can't keep curing zombified villagers anymore to get the lowest price. You can only cure them once and that's the only discount you get. If you try curing the zombified villagers again you will still have the same discounted price as the first time. "Doesn't work anymore" is @Nakkisipulis, referring to the question that @alphagaming8689 had, asking if you could cure the zombified villager multiple times to get the lowest price.
Does it have to be mud bricks?
No, it can be any block
3:52 why?
I don't remember the reason
I open the piston and the zombie villager doesn’t fall through
Probably the minecart is not correctly placed on that part
Will this work on normal difficulty on Bedrock?
In normal difficulty, there is a less chance that Villager will become a zombie, but in hard, this chance is very high
In normal, it is a 50% chance the villager will zombify/50% the villager will die. In Hard it is a 100% chance the villager will zombify.
Good bro
Thanks
I can’t get my Minecraft to fall through. I need help
What exactly is the problem?
does this have to be on hardcore?
No, it is enough that the difficulty of the game is hard
How come it has to be on hard?
@@xmcpepperx2446 The difficulty of the game should be on hard
@@xmcpepperx2446Zombies have a 100% chance to zombify the villager so its gurenteed everytime
@@xmcpepperx2446 In normal, it is a 50% chance the villager will zombify/50% the villager will die. In Hard it is a 100% chance the villager will zombify.
What to do if the mine cart doesn't drop?
Probably, it does not have enough speed to be placed in that place and it can fall, put some powered rails
Bro my dificulty is hard but villager is dying
In which version?
What is the purpose of the trap doors on the ceiling?
So that the zombie can't go on the rail
