@Fire from above Same. The concept of his head being split by Gargos leading to them becoming enemies is rad. The new design is a step up from his RPG dungeon boss look from KI.
I reckon it should have been Tusk who split Eyedol's head in ancient times, the new design is amazing and it'd be a fantastic way to make the demon god feel so much more frightening, like a true enemy of humanity, whilst making Tusk feel all the more heroic.
thers nothing quite like seeing him pop instinct and goign the fucking ungaest of boongaest who ever ungaaed in game history, probably my favorite instinct mode in all of the game's roster
Tbh it would be more fitting if the giant resurrected troll with a skull mace liked death metal, and the dimension traveling demon god liked menacing dark synth stuff
R E Iウサギ reboot so now eyedol never appeared in the Killer Instinct tournament and first made his appearance after kan-ra woke him up during gargos’s invasion

I - SERVE - NO ONE!!! Kan-Ra: No what are you doing?!! You must obey!! Obey!! *First blow of from Eyedol's hammer* *record scratch* Kan-Ra: So you're probably wondering how this all happened. Well you see what happened was....
It all began when our parents decided we could use some fresh air. They shipped us up north to a sleepy town called Gravity Falls, Oregon to stay at our great uncle's place in the woods...
Dipper: yup thats me. Your probably wondering how i am related to a megalomaniacle sociopathic sand man who ressurected an ancient bieng and brought about the end times of his world, well it all started.......
Indeed, someone else suggested it was a homage to the cheesy fantasy sci-fi films a monster like Eyedol would typically be made for. I think that maybe the electronic synth parts are to represent the mage side of his abilities and the hard beats and grunts are to represent his more brutish side, combined together to make this song.
IIRC, they said they were inspired by John Carpenter for this one. They also specifically avoided electric guitars which have been used somewhere in all of the other season 3 characters' themes.
How amazing with this theme! The intro gave me war flashbacks to the OG and it’s a great nod to it. Eyedol’s redesign looks far more menacing than the OG.
Antichrist2000 To be fair, only half of Eyedol is a brute. The other is a Sorcerer, and I think this track is more trying to represent his more powerful original form.
insane remake...cover...remaster...or whatever....your song is sick! i remember gettin destroyed in a corner by Eyedol during arcade days...it reminds me of this good frustrating time :D
Maybe i might misinterpret it but I think the part at the very beginning of the song was a sample of his SNES theme. If it is, that is an awesome callback. 😊
For me, I’ll always compare Eyedol to Blackheart from Marvel Vs Capcom Dark Thunder = Bolt Strike Armageddon = Shadow Meteor Strike For me, I prefer to use Fury’s Core as a placeholder for Eyedol cause in the original KI, Eyedol had two stages, both had lava, and one of them shared Cinder’s Theme, Trailblazer, so Fury’s Core makes sense Fury’s Core looked similar to the Forum, one of Eyedol’s stages from the original, of course one being a forum, where fighters fight, and Fury’s Core filled with machinery
If memory serves, in this universe, Eyedol started off as a being similar to Tusk. But he got greedy and wanted control of the Astral Realm, so he was cursed to look like _that._ and that was _before_ he got the splitting headache...!
Damn, whoever had the idea for Eyedol's design deserves a raise, it's one of the most creative uses for a character with a duality motif.
@Fire from above For some reason people hate this design but the way the split head thing works gameplay wise just makes Eyedol so much cooler to me.

I dont get how he went from having 2 heads to having 1 splitted head though
It really does sound like remixed 80's cinema horror music. It's uncanny how well it fits this character.
I'm gonna tell my kids this is from the Stranger Things score.
I mean if you think about it he is an ogre with the origin of a slasher villain.
That's why they hate each other. Gargos is a metalhead whereas Eyedol is more of a raver
The battle between metal and synth
LMFAO
lmao fuuuck that had me dyin
@Abdiel Rohan nah
Tbh it would be more fitting if the giant resurrected troll with a skull mace liked death metal, and the dimension traveling demon god liked menacing dark synth stuff
Song is genius...I think most people don't "hear" the fluctuations between mystical energy 02:36 and pure demonic rage 03:05. It's great.
who ever was composing KI 3's soundtrack was just killing it at the studio man. one after another.
season 1 and 2 was mick gordon who also did the sountrack for doom 2016
season 3 music was done by celldweller and atlas plug
1:03 - 1:33 sounds like something from a horror movie that would play when the monster is on your tail chasing you 😭
Cmon Doctor Phil. Its monsters
Ssseeerve the queeeen

fun fact: i think the start of his theme is from his original boss theme from KI1, WHICH IS *AWESOME*, theres also other parts from his theme too!
It is just modified

EYEDOL! EYEDOL! EYEDOL! EYEDOL! EYEDOL! EYEDOL!
How many fighting games have a big giant two-headed/split head ogre? #PlayKI
LOVE the beat from 1:02, it sounds like he's smashing a head in with that mace!
tusheschannel True omg 😨
+tusheschannel
To me it sounds like the crowd is chanting his name at the same pattern to the music.
I always imagined him stomping and getting his health back at that part
I imagine the Terminator walking menacingly in slow motion
This 80s meets Mortal Kombat sound is awesome!
Eyedol has always been *puts on sunglasses* TWO-FACED!
Huh
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH
Zachary Dockstader ... ... i don't even .... ... just what?
I love how it starts out with and returns (3:05) to his old SNES/Gameboy music god I'ma kid again
Nossa! Esse novo tema do Eyedol é simplesmente fantástico! Ouso no volume máximo! Demais mesmo!

oh my God, the 80s retrobeat is so good~
I feel like I'm at a rave with a bunch of shady people...
Sounds like an old horror movie
The end give me chills everytime
80's horror movie vibe for sure.
Is that an 80's synth retrowave I hear?
yes, because they are too lazy to make something original
Assassinoid i miss mick gordon

WTF you talking about Ass? It sounds bad ass compared to the original.

This is so fucking retro i love it
The God-Beast has arrived.
Crater Fist makes me think of secret of mana 2
00:00 so much nostalgia and soundtrack barely started. (He used the OG KI snip.)
How amazing with this theme! The intro gave me war flashbacks to the OG and it’s a great nod to it. Eyedol’s redesign looks far more menacing than the OG.
I. SERVE. NO-ONE!!! >:3
Serve the queen
It was that day that Kan-Ra knew,
he fucked up.
+gunzero99 I love how the official KI wiki lists his allies as: Kan Ra (For all of 3 seconds)
gunzero99 somebody should make that video.
The Cyber Engineer maybe Eyedol meant "I Serve No One" as like he's a man of his own free will. Or in this case, a goblin of his own free will.
The Extreme: Hotline Miami Edition.
My favourite character in all the entire saga... & plus with dark synthwave like his theme!!
If the rest of S3's soundtrack is Celldweller, then this is more like he's leaning into Scandroid (Celldweller's Synthwave project)
That "left brain and right brain" stuff seems to be flipped with eyedol

in this game he does the opposite: hits himself in face and loses health :D
i can't get enough of the KI riff in all these themes
Ogre-Magi shouldn't touch any more Ketamine.
He should try adderall instead smh
If anybody is wondering what one of the major inspirations for this song is, check out Head Like A Hole by Nine Inch Nails.
You, know I get eyedol
I know exactly whats going through his head
I love the sound at the begining brings back memory's
i don't give fuck what anybody say but this theme is badass sounds like from the original killer instinct but remix love it

They made this track like they did to represent Eyedols fall from humanity.
Mick Gordon was the best music composer for KI.
Justin Doctor

Killer instinct 1´s music compositions were astonishing! And these remixes are equally genious!!
for a moment i thought i was listening Perturbator
Underrated song, underrated character
I'm kind of glad he's underrated. His "electrify the entire room so you can't dodge this, sh*head!" move is godamn overpowered.
@@lance415 True. Very true.

80s EBM style, love it^^
Make sense his theme sounds retro he was a reference to Billy Idol in the KI1 ending ( original 1994 ) . #BillyEyedol #BillyIdol
So dramatic! True monster
For me, Eyedol’s stage should’ve been in an underground arena like you’re in Hell, and with lava in the background
So, the magical side is the raver and the red glowing side is the metal head.
This is definitely my favorite track from Season 3
insane remake...cover...remaster...or whatever....your song is sick!

Actually, he's nicknamed "The Titan".
Oh look..Generic boss battle musi...*suddenly Synthwave* YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!
Like Sabrewulf, his theme would be perfect in a slasher movie.
even better than Sabrewulf's theme cause this darkwave sounds very retro. Like 80's horror movies
I wish Eyedol had his own stage in the xbox reboot like Gargos did
Feels like a combination of K Rool and Doom 1 themes! ^___^
Really awesome
This is fucking glorious!

Eyedol is Unstoppable
Oh, so that's why he's so tough to beat in the original KI. I thought it was because the developers set his difficulty to the max setting.
As from 0:33 reminds me to the theme from American Gods
hey as they always said two heads were better than one but eyedol took this a little to seriously
