Although #umeda station and JR Osaka Station are adjacent to each other, their locations and transfers may seem complicated for tourists because they are operated by different railroad companies.

Hi, thanks for sharing this info. I will be travelling to Japan this June and will be taking the subway from Namba to Shin Osaka for the shinkansen bullet train to Tokyo.
Based on the Google map direction guide, I am supposed to continue the train ride from Umeda -> Nakatsu -> Nishinakajima then finally alight at Shin-osaka. Does this way also lead me to my destination? Thank you for your advice.

The best way to get to Shin-Osaka from Namba would be the way you describe.
You can take the Midosuji subway line without changing trains.

@@scrollmapjapan9199 thanks for your reply. As I am considering to take a car shuttle service from Tokyo Station to Disneyland Hotel, may I ask which is the nearest station exit from the shinkansen arrival platform to the main road for the shuttle service to pick me?

But I'm sorry. I am not familiar enough with Tokyo to explain it yet.
From what I have found, you can take a direct bus to the Disney Resort if you exit from the "Yaesu South Exit" or "Yaesu Central Exit".
Cab stands seem to be located near there as well.
