This is my piano cover for What I've Done by Linking Park from their latest album, Minutes to Midnight.
Yes guys, I know, I play the main riff SLIGHTLY differently. For the most part, though, I kept to a boring, straightforward approach with this song...a little improv here and there, but don't expect anything wild. Also this time, I actually stay on beat!! GASP!

Haha, I know! I searched for this video just to see if it was easy to find, and there were a ton of other covers.
Yeah, I played it a little bit differently then the original.
This week I've been listening to "... In Shallow Seas We Sail" by Emery...it's a fantastic album.
Unfortunately, I've been terribly lazy when it comes to playing the piano. I've played some songs for my school this year (I'm playing "Pomp and Circumstance" for graduation :-D), and picked up the occasional song, but I really need to start seriously working on my piano again. I know some talented musicians that are interested in making a band. Maybe I'll put some of my own stuff up.

It is, in fact, the correct key...haha, I was listening to the song as I played it, trust me. Even I'd I had transposed it, there is no "wrong" key. This a cover, not a carbon copy nor a tutorial.

i never took piano lessons i just play by ear and i dont even know the notes.. is it possible to play this witout lessons?

Yeah, I wouldn't use those words for LP either. I used to love them, but I've come to recognize quality and intelligence in music writing, rather then listening to the same made-for-radio, recycled, formulaic song spat at me over and over.
