"We are human beings, not human doings" - That´s deep...
ruclips.net/video/zOmZtBlTqg0/видео.html
Straight-Mind forgot to cite the source of this quote.
Yes
True
"Learned helplessness" -- this term is powerful. You think your way into problems, the only way out is to change your thinking, which is perhaps the most challenging task for any human spirit.
Yes, a fundamentally different approach needs to be taken.
It starts with the insight that something is going wrong which is already very difficult for most people because they need to accept the fact that their current concept about life does not work.
"Give yourself a chance"...I like that...thank you for making this video
you are welcome, Chan W :)
@@MarcoSanderCoaching you said "We are human beings, not human doings" without citing the source of the quote. This one has a known author.
@@caborabassa696 Yes, it's Kurt Vonnegut Jr. :)
So happy I came across this video. I started it thinking I would catch a couple of minutes, but found it so valuable that I stayed untill the end! THANNK YOU!!!
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Nice take on the topic. In this time, when negativity surrounds us it is really difficult to increase our self esteem. Habit of gratitude is one of my coping mechanism whenever I feel down. I do hope in the generation to come they would be more concern on how they can boost self esteem of others rather than their ownself as that may be change our vision. Thanks for this wonderful documentary more power and keep safe!
Happy to hear that gratitude is a working coping mechanism for you.
I agree. Being surrounded in a healthy environment is one of the key factors to improve self-esteem. It's like a tree that needs water, sun and good soil. We need a sense of autonomy, a feeling of competence and people around us that accept and love us as we are.

This channel is absolute gold and needs to be shared with wider society. I never write comments . However, Marco you are truly a blessing to the world and are sharing such immense value and education.

Very professional! Would like to see more documentaries! Keep up the work.
Already working on the next ones! :)
It is too deep, I really love the topic. I am 17 years old and I admit that my self-esteem depend on my success, however, this video made me think a lot about it. Thank you a lot

Great video, I guess the interview was done in Maastricht, Netherlands...
that's right!
Beautiful documentary. Love it. Thank you!!
I am a schizophrenic with OCD ADD ADHD mild to moderate depression and anxiety issues. My mental problems when I was a young child and the depression and anxiety issues didn't start until my mid to late teens and never really went away.
I am always the shy awkward type of person with my head to the ground never speaking up and constantly second guessing myself.
I want to improve myself esteem and self confidence, but I don't know how.
I would strongly prefer a recommendation video that could help with a soft speaker and soothing soft music in the background.
Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
I'm 20 seconds into this video and I can already tell it's going to be life changing. Thankyou
Thank you for this & and for everyone who contributed in this video.
Give yourself a chance.. awesome closing for the topic ✌️
haha yeah, I thought so, too :)
This is uninque presention, l really l liked it and it gives me more attention about my enterinel self esteem... 🍂

Hi, I like your video on self-esteem. The information on gratitude and being grateful for what you already have, surrounding the self with healthy people are such important points. Improving one's self-esteem is multi-faceted isn't it? I also like your video with interviews and clips too. Thankyou!
"Improving one's self-esteem is multi-faceted isn't it?" - exactly, you got it! :)
Thank you for this video
Thank you for sharing this
you are welcome, Ravindra :) Glad you enjoyed it!
Wonderful documentary. Very nice work. It is the most fundamental topic and driving force for all our pursuits.
Thank you, Darshan, Iyer, happy that it inspired!
Yes, I also think that self-esteem is one of the most foundational topics in psychology. It's a gateway that everybody has to pass sooner or later if one wants to develop further as a human-being.
Take care,
Marco
Great and sincere video! Thanks a lot for having made it
Thank you for this masterpiece! Empowering people from people :)
Wonderful work. I shared this with my krew..thank you:)
glad you enjoyed it!
love yourself
to put it simple, self-esteem is direct linked to liking yourself, to feeling good about yourself.
now that we know what it is, how we get to have it ? it comes from the things we do. Majority of kids grow up in a environment where they could get anything they want, but their parents controlled their decissions ( how to speak, how to behave and so on). They didn't had much of choise of their own, beside going to college and getting drunk ( not trully boosts ur self-esteem, lol).
The simple way to build up your self-esteem is to do the things you don't want to do ( example such as getting a job, studying for a exam, donating money to charity when you don't have much money, leaving a nice comment on a blog or social media).
Easy way to temporary boost your self-esteem is to think ( and this is very important, because what you think you become), to think at achievements from your life ( it doesn't has to be for the world, but what really made an impact in your life, for yourself ).
And now we came again to.. liking yourself. After you went to study when you didn't felt like doing it, went for a job, gave some money, helped someone, you do like yourself a bit more, even if the people around you don't know about this and may not fully support you.
2 important keys is to always explore the world and find new people (for your circle) and you do have to daily or very often do all of those 'don't want to do things' .
This is nice. EDUCATIONAL VIDEO! GOOD LOOKERS!
Thank you, glad it inspired!

I will like to suggest you to make a documentary on Resilience..btw nice work
actually I´m currently working on 5 documentaries simultaneously. one of them will be about stress which includes resilience :)
I´ll take my time with those since I want to provide you with the best quality possible!
@@MarcoSanderCoaching looking forward to it then🌻
I think many people are confused. Being realistic about yourself and self esteem are two entirely different things.
Thank you for the video, real self esteem depends on your personality and subconscious programs. If you will get free from sometimes not so positive programs you will have no other way to be dependent on others thoughts. We are you we are and others have less to do with it:-)
LOVE this video!
Glad it inspired, Anjuli Mack!
This was great. Very well made and very open and honest. Pure if you like. Very rare in today’s society. Thank you ❤️ (lots of verys in my comment)😊
Appreciate it very much that it resonates with you :)
Awesome video!
I love your channel. Thank you from my heart. ❤️
glad it helps! Sending much love back, from the bottom of my heart
People who surround us or who surround we are in the same energetic and menat level:-)
I think If my body felt better and was healthier. My Self-Esteem would be much better.
No one on this Earth will love you more than you love yourself. Be intentional.
You're wrong. Some people hate themselves while they are loved by others.
If I end up a millionaire before 30 years old, my self esteem going to sky rocket
Thank you.
you are welcome.
Awesome
Like making money isn't everything. Doing what you love is more important having a ton of money.
Like. For example I work in retail part time and love it. It is not about the money for me.
Wow thanks for this
you're welcome, glad it helped!
Great video :-) Well done 🤩😇
Thank you, Maria :) see you next week probably!
I have no self esteem. Why should I have any given my life?
I'm feeling society always puts pressure on my looks,I'd say my self esteem has indeed blossomed ....but I'm no 20 yr old.
In your 20s your desperate to fit in
Keeping up" w no not the Kardashians" but society maybe the internet.
There's plenty of garbage online that's dangerous & toxic to self esteem.
I feel self esteem is how you feel ABOUT YOURSELF YOUR BODY INSIDE/ OUTSIDE SPIRITUALLY
YOUR FAMILY YOUR PETS EVEN EVEN OTHERS NOT TO KEEP UP W THE KARDASHIAN TYPE PERSON"
Meaning I know,I'm very very attractive female.
I've never used ANY PLASTIC SURGERY TO GET HERE
Simply clean living....for years....
I'm also bipolar so my life isn't a bed of roses though,I've dealt in the past w eating issues.
I've fixed the ED but bipolar still here.
Rapid cycling) but this is a mental illness!
I try & NOT LET THAT EFFECT MY SELF ESTEEM
By educating others I feel safe w telling them I'm bipolar.
I always try & do the best I can today evaluate
End of the day.
As a Buddhist what we are kind to our inner core.
I try to meditate
Example learn that material objects no matter how much.
Are worth nothing
When it comes to your own life,
Family life pets lives.
My childhood I ......it was rough.
Really not speak on it except it made me a perfectionist.
Though I never doubted their love,
But I wasn't allowed to discuss stuff that was important.
VICTORIAN BRITISH AS IM 1/2 ENGLISH STIFF)
Private)
I've never fell in love lust yes.
True love, like my mum & dad nope.
Noe,
It's too late.
I also no longer want that in life.
Your needs change as well
When you get older.
Social media.....
You see perfection"
Listen,
It's not simply young girls!
Even middle age ladies like me doubt ourselves.
But remember.......they are usually plastic
Gym & go to their own chefs etc etc.
I've forever loved creativity modelling, writing, music, makeup, photography, designer things.
Oh,
I'm so aware I'll never afford Chanel any outfits.
But I'm loving fashion shows!
I'm a fashionista.
If social media gets to you,
Detox OFF IT AWHILE
Cheers
It was plenty toxic before the internet. I became bulimic at 13 (1990) because I had gained some weight and my shorts were a little tight. I walked by a guy and he made a barf noise and yelled out, "Ugh, turn me OFF!"
Hey, what music is used in this video? :)
See the links in the description below :)
Does anyone know where this video was recorded ?
Maastricht
Everyone is beautiful and speaks very good English
The only thing you needs to remember is that Jesus loves you and you were born worthy. If you are being an example of Christ to others, you are already a success story. You don't need to be validated by anything or anyone.
Amen!

Beautiful is useful to have a job
People are not happy because God did not create us to be self absorbed - but to love people and bless others.
I just read a lovely quote about that: "Happiness is not about what you have but what you give."
Thanks you ar mezing
.. Enjoying a sunset?.. All people can enjoy that..
Documentary starts with thin rich successful supermodel/actor that promotes professionally on social media.
Two sides of the coin :
"Be with people who are okay with who, what, and how you are and that youre enough as u are"
other side :
"Be with people who are better than you.Have social circle with people who are smarter and successful than you are"
now what?🙄
You don´t need to choose the "either...or..." way of thinking.
Sometimes the most accepting people are the ones that are most ahead of you.
Hi, excellent video ty so much, there’s nothing more sexier than a rock solid confident person, that makes you a perfect ten, rock solid confidence love yourself and own it, your unstoppable, absolute fact, ty, Bob,
I pretty much find this video useless. I've always had pretty good self esteem thanks to my father in my early years.i never had a healthy relationship with my mother. Right now, I have no healthy inner circle, I have no circle. I have a problem now because of the issues I am facing right now. I don't know why I am experiencing all of this.

Yes!
oh bollocks
There is no "self" in self-esteem. It is entirely predicated on an External locus of evaluation. Focus on your own opinion of yourself, your thinking and your actions. Ask yourself if what you are doing right is good for you, if it brings you happiness and if it's good in the long term. If the answer to any of those is "no", then don't do it. Recognise that you might want to do it to please others. That is the External evaluation. And then do not do it. Focus on you.
