The main thing stopping me from getting any dupes is that a lot of them are one size, whereas as a plus woman I can get the 2x Killstar one and it fits me and still slightly oversized.
As someone that loves the look of the one from Killstar, I'm still trying to find the perfect yarn to make my own! It's much cheaper to make your own imho lol
i think that the black and gray sweater may have seemed more gradient on the site because of what the model was wearing underneath it. in any case, that one is my favorite. love the monochrome!
I have a few of those sweaters from Killstar and Punk Rave and I bought one cheap dupe from AliExpress just to see the difference... Geez, the dupe one is so similar to Killstar that you just have to put a Killstar tag inside and nobody would see the difference!
I think they're all cool and I love them on you anything with a ripped anything doesn't work for me because I tend to be a little too hard on my garments. I don't know who designed it first but I really really love the patterns and Designs especially the way that the purple one looks on you!

I have a knockoff I bought from AliExpress for $12 I think that looks exactly like the last one you showed. It’s very soft, almost fuzzy, and I’ve got no issues with it. If you just want the design I don’t think paying for the authentic killstar sweater is worth it, especially if you’re non-UK as the price of the AliExpress dupe I bought would only be about killstar’s basic shipping cost to here..

I have one sweater that is not exactly like that one, is striped red and black, but its from punk rave and this like more like I dont know how to say it haha looks like it's sewed it with a larger needle hahaha I dont know if that makes sense, it's more revealing haha I don't have any from Killstar sadly
Just the fact that you said the Killstar version was a softer fluffier material makes me think it was their original design and other companies are making cheaper versions of it.
How do these sweaters hold up over time? The design is so aesthetic but it doesn't look too durable. Like it would snag easily, fray or rip apart at some point. I know you'd either hand wash it or gentle cycle but...idk. I don't think I'd wanna spend 60 bones on a cool sweater like that and have it in shreds after a few wearings. I'd maybe give a cheaper alternative version a chance if I really wanted one to try out.

Mine have held up pretty well and I wear them often- the most that’s happened was a few snags. No tearing!
