Dan's voice improves everything he sings. Period.
What a beautiful masterpiece from Dan, Erik and Victor the guitar nerd. Both have powerful voices and clearly had fun rocking the song.
I met Erik through this cover. He recently left his band for health reasons. Erik now makes his own covers, similar to Dan.

If i remember correctly, the band member who penned this battle against oppression song was fighting alcoholism. He knew others were fighting their own battles over their own problems, so he left it open to all. Fighting the oppression became an anthem to warriors of all walks of life, from depression to drugs or gambling or any negativity that oppresses a person.
They powered this up brilliantly! Both Dan & Erik had their own battles, yet joined forces to help each other & the rest of us to power through.
I SO wish i could return the favor to them all.
(I'm a mostly ex-smoker. Down to 3 sticks a month instead of 2-3 packs a day).
The battles are real, no matter the battle!!

Enjoyed your reaction. Yes, Dan has come a long way. His hard work shows and it's paying off. On Sunday, he finally hit the 1 million subscriber mark! Agree that when Erik and Dan's voices combine in harmony it's wonderful.
