Hi Justin. I've been following your learn in 30 days tutorials in preparation for entering the Interior Design workforce and they have been super helpful. The only issue I keep running into is how to select specific faces/edges to group when modeling more detailed assemblies - thinking for example a door assembly with a frame, door, trim etc. what's the best way to pick these different parts up without selecting other connected edges and faces. Or perhaps this is more of a workflow question about how best to tackle modeling interior/architectural details without having things stick to one another when trying to group/component

Better to think of Lasso orientations as clockwise and counterclockwise. That’s why figure-8 shaped lassos get a little ambiguous.

Can you do something different? All these things are related to land not ocean.

What specific ocean things are you trying to create?

I think its a good idea to model a Viking ship and rib parts.
