Some all-time great decisions these past couple of weeks.
1) Petracca's disallowed goal where the defender "couldn't remember" which part of his hand (or arm) even touched the ball.
2) Jeremy Cameron kicking it from so far out of bounds he was almost at Jolimont Station.
3) Disallowing that Crows goal cos YOLO.

Richmond supporter from America. Was introduced to this wonderful sport by a Crows supporter in 2015. This is clearly a goal and the entire umpiring crew should be ashamed for not even reviewing this. Crows were robbed of an amazing comeback.

I feel so bad for Adelaide. Clear goal, with all angles it was clearly evident and the fact the umpires didn’t review it is by far the biggest error you’ll see all year, not only has it cost Adelaide a finals spot, but it could cost GWS and St Kilda finals spots as well if Sydney beat Melbourne and if Bulldogs beat Geelong. As a Giants fan my nerves are next level, regardless if we make it or not I have been super impressed with the team this season. But man I am gutted for Adelaide

I feel for the crows, how that wasn't called a goal let alone having a score review is an absolute farce. This isn't the first time that this has happened either, the AFL have got serious issues.

They need a review system (say three reviews per team per game) for such bad decisions. Let the players (or captain/vice captain) signal to the umpire[s] that they want a review. I'm a Swans supporter but that clearly deserved a review. Players need the ability to contest the umpires!

@@urbanyouths I'm not saying they couldn't have, I'm just saying that no one scored after the shot, so if it stayed the same way after the shot had Keays got it, then Adelaide should have won. But its a what if moment and we'll never get to see what would've happened, which kinda sucks.

@@kalencwil3924 You need to watch more games of football. Port beat Essendon when The bombers grabbed the lead after they kicked multiple goals in a row. I've seen so many games where teams counter an win after losing their lead near the end of the match.

Afl have to a hard, brutal review this off season about the state of the games rules, the umpires and the arc. This year has been inexcusably bad...
I dont find it entertaining to watch a game now . I just look at the results after the game . And I hate the Radio commentary too. Too much superfluous talk about this stat and that stat .

I cannot believe that call, 2 weeks in a row with 2 games determining finals for multiple teams and this happens again, and this time not even reviewed. The AFL should be embarrassed. Adelaide have had some close games not go there way through poor umpiring this year and its a shame. Eagles supporter btw.
That mistake from the goal umpire has cost Adelaide a spot in the finals and put St Kilda's spot in jeopardy as well. When so much is on the line, the game is so close and the call is 50/50, why the haste? On review that would've been rightly called a goal. For shame.
Surely the Score Review Arc are able to stop the game temporarily, just to be 100% sure that the decision on the field was correct.
The angle shown here, the commentators thought it hit the padding, but after the game, they showed side on footage, and it never hit the padding at all.

As a Dogs supporter with mates who barrack for Adelaide, Sydney and even Port Adelaide, we all believed that to be a goal. Should have at least been reviewed.

Atleast score review it. Even if it did hit the post it would be fair so Adelaide have time to get numbers back
Why aren't all close calls resulting in a score reviewed? No point having technology if you're not going to use it. NRL bunker reviews tries even after referee awards them. If there's been a mistake they correct it. Everyone else watching the game could see the clear error on replays.

As a crows fan. I agree. It was a goal. Crows should of been handed the win... However. Decisions go either way all season. This one just didn't go the crows way.

Anyone and their mum can see a clear gap between the ball and the post. Ridiculous how they didn't think for a second to review it. Crows' season was ended because of umpires who didn't do their due diligence.

Another thing I haven’t seen pointed out yet is look when the shadow of the ball projects onto the goal post. It’s even further away. And that’s from the light tower behind the goal which with that angle the ball is basically past already.

These decisions are done to decide who they want on grand finals and these decision don't really make a difference in grand finals as they are normally blow outs rare that they are close finishes

Absolutely disgusting by the AFL to not overturn the result. I know there was 70 seconds left, and an argument can be made that Sydney could have scored, but look at the context of the game, Swans had scored 1 point in the qtr and Crows had all the momentum. Enough with the "oopsie, we messed up" it was the second time this season and it's not good enough

I don't follow any of these teams, but I've noticed that a lot of people are saying that it should've been a goal. But upon seeing a fan video of what really transpired, I feel that Adelaide got robbed and this cost them the chance to save their season. Even Sydney Swans supporters say the Crows got robbed. That's how bullsh** that was. Imagine if this bullsh** happened in a Finals match, let alone a Grand Final.
