I don't think there were many bonds in that great Bulls team. Just great players that worked well together, with a great coach who was a terrific man-manager. They even left Luc Longley out of 'The Last Dance' completely. ....like the dude had nothing to do with their titles....They had great defensive and offensive players, but I don't think for a second that they were a close team....
Scottie isn’t jealous of Michael, the documentary “The Last Dance” threw Scottie under the bus and Michael son Marcus is dating Scotties ex-wife who is the mother of Scotties kids
Scottie doesn't understand how fans saw him in The Last Dance at all. The entire reaction to that series was basically, "I love these guys." Great team, great time. Loved to see Scottie and Kerr and Rodman and Phil and BJ Armstrong and even Horace Grant - who actually doesn't have the best relationship with some of them. Horace Grant gets it though - he understands that the reaction to that documentary was just positive across the board. Pippen feels insulted but its in his head. Fans loved it. They love him too, they just wish he could see it.
@@johnray527 This isn't true, specifically with Horace Grant. He literally ran to Jason Whitlock (then with FoxSports), and told him how rough MJ was on him; Jordan wouldn't let him eat on a plane ride one time. I'm not siding with Grant, I'm just pointing out that Grant's always had issues with Jordan, saying stuff going back to their first 3-peat (via the press). Frankly, the first time I heard Pippen making remarks about Jordan, I assumed that it was on the heels of Horace Grant getting on the phone and getting in Scottie's ears; pointing out Pippen's lack of appearances in The Last Dance. Grant runs hot and cold with Jordan (in interviews), not to mention his time with the Lakers. He was the highest paid player in the league for at least a few years (when he was with Orlando), and I've never felt that Grant has ever been appreciative playing with Jordan. Perhaps "once in a while", but never fully. It depends on who's talking to him, and what he can get away with saying.
Portland was a C-H away from beating the Laker and winning the chip. If they don’t fold - Scottie has 7. That would have made these kind of conversations more interesting.
How so? Nobody says Pippen was a bad player. He himself diminshes his own legacy with his stupid comments these days. Jordan has always given him his props. Even in the doc he said you can't say Michael Jordan without Scottie Pippen. When Scottie Pippen was inducted into the hall of fame Jordan was standing right next to him like a proud big brother. Pippen is hurting bad because of all the shit that has happened to him. And he's lashing out at people that love him. It's just sad to see.
@@Cain353 - I don’t discount anything you’re saying - but it seems lately Pippen is trying to establish that he he is NOT Robin to Jordan’s Batmen. And a chip away from Jordan would make that conversation more interesting
I think it should have MJ Pippen and Phil with the say on what goes in the final cut of the Last Dance. Had that happen they would still be thick as thieves. Because the Last Dance was unfair to his teammates
Pippen is petty and that seems to be the root of a lot of how he deals with things. I mean, I get that him and the Bulls were not seeing eye to eye, but to delay surgery and take a "vacation" on company's time but taking into account that you are in a historical run and a team game, that's quite selfish and petty. The Bulls front office was effing up everybody, not just him. There was also the time that he got pissed because he wanted to take the last shot and that went over his head ABOVE winning. It's clear that he has some issues.
MJ undoubtedly is maybe the greatest NBA player to ever play the game. But let's face it, you can't go through a career rubbing some people the wrong way and expect them to sing your praises. Some just aren't built that way. As fans, we only see the games played on the court. Its the games off the court that we don't see that tell a different story. So, I cannot knock anybody who actually played with somebody for whatever feelings or personal bias they may have or feel about that person.
The fact that Melo made the top 75 team over Dwight Howard, one of the best rim protectors and bigs the game has ever seen, who actually impacted winning is pathetic.
Melo was a better player than Dwight Howard. Dame Lillard getting in over Dwight is ridiculous. Dwight was the dominant big man in the NBA for almost a decade. He also went head to head with Lebron and won.
@@selfmade8884 Melo not by any metric besides scoring is he a better player than Dwight Howard. Melo isn't even Jimmy Butler, Klay Thompson, both impacted winning at a way higher level and will leave a greater legacy... There isn't a soul who knows even a little about basketball who would take Melo over Butler in a 7 game series.
@@selfmade8884 Dwight Howard's plus minus is literally 2x higher for career than Melo's, while having a shorter career.... That is a clear indicator on who impacts winning more. Can Melo defend like howard? No. Cone. Can he rebound like Howard? No. & Howard was an underrated passer, surround him with 3 pt shooters and you had a contending team... So based on what is he a better player when Howard's career plus minus is almost 3,000.... and Melo's is 1,500.... Kobe 4,100.. LeBron the bench mark 7,200.... & not to mention Howard is universally recognized by his peers as one of, if not the greatest rim protectors the game has ever seen. Melo isn't recognized as the greatest of anything besides maybe being an underachiever.
@matt3003 Yeah, its pathetic a perennial underachiever made the list. When we can name countless players who impacted winning at the highest level more.
@@optimalpowersimracing6625 Stat geeks like you try to cherry-pick stats to make your point. Of course Dwight defends and rebounds better than Melo he was a center. Plus/minus is also a flawed stat because it doesn’t account for who is on the court with you. At his peak Melo was one of the greatest scorers in nba history and a great rebounder for his position. He was objectively a better player than Dwight at both of there peaks and he was more durable.
Can you imagine Jordan , Kobe or even Malone taking out so much time to consistently do a PODCAST while still playing in the nba . That’s why this dude has no ring ..🤦🏾♂️ should be practicing
But how? Nothing in the documentary was a lie. He had a migraine left Jordan stranded. He refused to come in cos Kukoc had the final shot. He chose his contract and chose to chill in the summer rather than get surgery done on his back. Now whether all of that needed to be in the documentary is a different debate. I mean the contract and back injury was definitely in context of the final season, the migraine and Kukoc moment maybe not so much. But seriously they needed each other to win and MJ has said that numerous times. MJ retired first but not after in helped the team win a 3 peat I mean come on now.
Jordan put a lot of things in the documentary about himself that he’s not proud of, and had to answer for so why would you want him to hide anything about his teammates? Nothing he said was a lie.
I guess saying without Scottie I don’t win any of my championships is shitting on him he always says if you say my name you have to say Pippen right after 🙄🥱
This is why nobody is listening to Pippen lol. The way he’s talking sht to Jordan nowadays is like a fan who DESPERATELY wants Lebron to be the GOAT. And he would do anything to change Jordan’s legacy. Even to the point of being insane and delusional. The way he’s trashing Jordan is sad, you almost feel pity for him. Add in the fact that just a few years ago, he was saying nothing but praises for Jordan. This is like, let’s say for example, DWade became insane and start talking sht about Lebron’s career. Downplaying all his achievements. Would you believe him? Absolutely not. You would think DWade is high and needs help mentally. That’s what’s happening with Pippen nowadays.

During 30 years, pippen said only great things about MJ.
Since the last dance everything changed
RIP Logo
Rip logo
Rip Mr West 😢
I always enjoyed the way Paul played, but after listening to him on this podcast I really like the guy. That dude at the end needs to stop clowning and trying so hard. He's cringe.
RIP Jerry "the Logo" West! 🙏🙏🙏
Jerry RIP.
MJ son is knocking down Scotties ex wife now would explain a lot
There has been many guys that has had sex with his wife. He’s not go after them in this way.
Yeah I think ima roll with Gabe and KCP
Podcast P has a Problem with Paul's Plosives
The Logo admires The GOAT. Cool.
Before the Last Dance Scottie loved MJ
@@johnray527 i agree with you
@@johnray527 This isn't true, specifically with Horace Grant.
The last dance told the truth. If the truth paints you in a bad light that’s on you.
Under the bus??? The shot really happened. And Scottie got to watch the doc before it came out. It’s jealousy and envy
I honestly hope they never change the NBA logo.
RIP Jerry West
PG!!
RIP JWEST
@@maddymud But that's just a what if.
If the East wasn't absolutely loaded in the 80's Jordan could have made it to the Finals without Pippen.
@@maddymudNot really because he wasn’t the main guy/superstar on the team
Why was melo there?
Logo!
@@optimalpowersimracing6625
Stat geeks like you try to cherry-pick stats to make your point.
The Logo was named MVP after Lakers lost the finals. G S*** right there. RIP To The Logo
He ain’t telling NO stories lol he is smooth with it! Lol MJ got everyone on lips on lock lol
Jerry West was a scratch or plus player for years. No way Jordan ever beat him straight up.
I used to like Jerry West, then he told me he eats dogs. Now I'm on the fence.
Eh?
Jordan is the GOAT!
PG thought he was slick sticking Melo’s name in there. He don’t belong in that convo
Guess who got the LOUDEST CHEERS in CLEVELAND? MICHAEL JORDAN
Can you imagine Jordan , Kobe or even Malone taking out so much time to consistently do a PODCAST while still playing in the nba . That’s why this dude has no ring ..🤦🏾♂️ should be practicing
your friend's son is scoring on your ex wife, that's not an ideal situation for Pip.
Attacking MJ stop it!
What went wrong with MJ and Pip relationship... simple, MJ Son and Pip Ex Wife doing it up😅
They know not to say nothing bad about MJ, they seen what happened to Barkley, he cut his ass off completely 😂
People acting dumb like they don’t know why Scottie acting like this. This man mj disrespected that man on his documentary.
That top 75 list need a serious redo
We all know Kawhi and PG can be great but they're never both healthy and playing
People need to stop acting like they don't know why he upset Jordan been shitin on him his whole career even after retirement 🤣
Boricua Hispanic Indian n black Iam.. jordan was a great player . But Pippen was more talent Phil Jackson say that pippen have each players the skills. The problem is the way you acting to other players, Pippen like to help his teammates went Jordan try to pushing to be better player. But Pippen was like a teacher n Steve Kerr say that. Horace say Pippen was very friendly to hem n they act like brother.pippen teammates love hem . Went Jordan punch in the face to steve kerr , say to horace he was a trash player. Tim Duncan was special player you have to be like tim Duncan he love his teammates. If you want to win championship, you teammates is your helper. I have Jordan card n i love his game but how you are with other people. If you have money n power but not have love you don't have nothing like the Bible says. I like shaq O'Neill he help many people that love . Pippen have some problem his son die his ex wife acting like little girl n go out with jordan son. If they do it to you how you feel . Just think.
The only acceptable player that deserves to be the logo after jerry is Kobe
Jordan
Scottie’s going through it in his personal life, and the interviewer is trash for not bringing that up
People forget Michael fucked Scottie in his documentary. It wasn’t necessary to do that to a teammate that you won so much. Michael always gets a pass for everything
Thats a funny pic with a all the former lakers and lil Isiah trying to sneak in lmao
