Need the how to on redoing the caulk for windows on the exterior side.

Those bumps appear to be the bottom aluminum strip that holds the wiper seal of the door, which is an extruded seal. The extruded seal slides into the aluminum extrusion, and the extrusion is screwed onto the side of the door.

I think a matte finish would look better, the reflections are kind of distracting.

As a former floor guy it looks like they used a t-molding instead of a shoe molding or a different transition piece that's thicker at the back... what are the all the bumps?
