Hi Jamie, We go on our first cruise in September and another in February so naturally cottoned on to your YT,s on P&O and find them very informative the reason we never went cruising was we liked to saturate ourselves in the places we visited ,but life is ever changing unlike you I started in photography 50s but moved to engineering ,but have always had a passion for art and photography which gets me to the point .My brother in law told me many moons age ,he used a camcorder on holiday but didn’t see the holiday only through the eyepiece ,you can’t photograph the ambiance of the places .Your obviously enjoying life like us . Ooh, Jamie, I am now so excited having heard your future plans. I am booked on Ambience for a Xmas markets cruise in December. Too much to hope this is the same one but will certainly look out for you, in hope (now, does that sound a little stalkerish?). Panic not, I am not a shoulder tapper or anything - might just give a cheeky wave or wink 😉. One of my granddaughters was a teacher and I know how much work she put into it. Unfortunately, it became just a bit overwhelming for her and gave it up to now study for a degree in psychology (she is also expecting her first baby in November, just to make life extra complicated!). I do my RUclips channel totally on my iPhone as well (also on my iPad for editing). I do love the iPhone 14 though, which I upgraded from the iPhone X earlier this year. I love the wide angle lens and 4k filming, which I didn’t have before! For me, its all about traveling light-I just can’t handle lots of heavy equipment. And Congratulations on your announcement!

I have 2 weeks and 2 days left....not that I'm counting 😂. I'm also looking into copywriting so that I can gradually quit altogether. Nervous but excited at the thought of a new venture. I've been following for a while now and love your content. You inspired me to take my first P&O cruise and like I said I was pleasantly surprised. I'd say to other readers like me who only cruise with one line to try various cruise lines before deciding on a favourite we were too quick to jump into Royal but I can see many advantages to selecting a line on basis of ship, price and destination alone. I'm excited to see all your cruising vlogs and hope despite the summer in Disney that cruise vlogging remains your main output just purely from a selfish stand point as it's the reason why I watch you. Although Disney content is very popular so good luck with that.
A really interesting video Jamie. My wife is a teacher assistant, and since she started this career, I have much more respect for teachers and school staff in general. I wish you well in any decisions you come to - education can be all consuming and difficult to escape if it’s all one has known (like me - I’ve only ever worked in education bar a holiday job or two when younger). It’s scary making changes for sure. I’m scared. But have to make a change as I can’t do this until retirement.

Thanks to you we have booked our first cruise . p&o Iona next September for 2 weeks. Absolutely love you and your husbands trips. He is such a sweetheart. Your job / career whilst being important has been the back bone of your life for so long . Teaching ( like Nursing-thats me) has changed so much over the years and getting older I know I need less stress. Why not do something that makes you happy / gives you joy and will pay well. Unfortunately there are some very petty single minded prats out there that feel happy thinking they are making someone else’s life a misery by being nasty when in fact its their jealousy shining through. I've been following for a while now and love your content. You inspired me to take my first P&O cruise and like I said I was pleasantly surprised. I'd say to other readers like me who only cruise with one line to try various cruise lines before deciding on a favourite we were too quick to jump into Royal but I can see many advantages to selecting a line on basis of ship, price and destination alone. I'm excited to see all your cruising vlogs and hope despite the summer in Disney that cruise vlogging remains your main output just purely from a selfish stand point as it's the reason why I watch you. Although Disney content is very popular so good luck with that.

I wish you well in any decisions you come to - education can be all consuming and difficult to escape if it’s all one has known (like me - I’ve only ever worked in education bar a holiday job or two when younger). It’s scary making changes for sure. I’m scared. But have to make a change as I can’t do this until retirement.

Thanks to you we have booked our first cruise . p&o Iona next September for 2 weeks. Absolutely love you and your husbands trips. He is such a sweetheart. Your job / career whilst being important has been the back bone of your life for so long . Teaching ( like Nursing-thats me) has changed so much over the years and getting older I know I need less stress. Why not do something that makes you happy / gives you joy and will pay well.
Unfortunately there are some very petty single minded prats out there that feel happy thinking they are making someone else’s life a misery by being nasty when in fact its their jealousy shining through. Good luck with your last few weeks at school and I look forward to reading and watching more of your adventures x
