That was literally the best cut up I have seen on youtube. You earned a follower/sub and a like sir. Great Job. Jeanty was my Heisman too. It's the yards after contact and broken tackles for me.
Thanks for the great analysis and breakdown. Jeanty is amazing on tape…but then you see him “live” and you go from amazed to “Are you serious!,” as you watch his speed and power. I’ve seen him pancake linebackers that were in head on position to tackle him. He has a rare combination of athleticism and skills: Power, speed, and agility. Everyone who watches tape are saying, the defense is not wrapping up, but in real time, Jeanty is faster and stronger. He runs through arms before they can wrap up. If he has a half step on you, which he usually does, he literally just pushes the defender down and keeps going. I watch other “good” running backs, trying to keep their feet and stumbling to finish off a run. Jeanty has such a low center of gravity and power, where other running backs are going down - Jeanty just breaks the tackles and keeps moving forward. Occasionally one guy can get enough of Jeanty to bring him down. I saw Gilmore get him once from Georgia Southern, and All- American Woodward from UNLV get him a few times, but more often than not, it takes three hats to take him down. Oregon has a great defense, and it was almost every play, they needed three guys to bring him down after he ran for 9+ yards. I expect Penn State to be as stout as Oregon, and I still believe Jeanty will run for 150+ yards regardless of the outcome.
@@jeffarcher8791 it’s not all day tho lol that’s just a media narrative just like prime being a great coach is a narrative… it’s okay bro he is a great back but to say his Oline ain’t helping and he just playing 1 v 11 is not even close to legit… he is not Barry Sanders on the Lions
@@jeffarcher8791 aw that good ol media narrative cope as if this guy is doing Barry sanders type plays in the back field… I promise you if he was hitting those cutbacks like Reggie Bush he would of been the unanimous MVP but the eye test ain’t even close to that
As a Boise State fan, Jackson Woodard, number 7 on UNLV was the best defender we faced all year. That dude is such a beast and lowkey won his matchup against Jeanty in the regular season meeting. Jeanty got him a few times in the conference championship game, but those games felt like I was watching a duel between an elite running back and linebacker, and the other 20 football players on the field were simply extras.
Penn State has the easiest playoff schedule playing cupcake teams like SMU and Boise State. However, Penn State will lose in the semis against real teams such as Notre Dame or Georgia. Penn State had a cupcake schedule all year. They only played two top ten teams and lost both games.
@@Phila80at the beginning of the year the schedule looked tougher than at the end. Ohio State, Washington, USC, Illinois. @@anoobthatcould8659 I didn't blast anybody, he said the O line is bad, I was letting him know that the line we have now is better. I think the backups did an admirable job but there's a reason backups are backups and starters are starters. Randolph, Carreon, Casey, and maybe Dooley will likely all play on Sundays. Their backups may get to that level with continued development, but even if it wasn't strictly about talent the guys they had on the line for the bulk of the season didn't come in to the season as experienced as the starters. I don't see Boise State beating Penn State. Penn Stare has too much talent and has a bigger line. This will be a blow out. Prediction: PSU 45 Boise State 21
One thing I noticed their pass blocking was not bad that game too. But that also maybe because jeanty is such a good threat in the running game you can’t just sell out and pass rush
Penn State defense probably has guys whoh practiced against Blake Corum. He had such quick lateral movement. Do they remember anything? Should be fun to watch.
This is what I've learned from this video and watching games this season...there is a huge talent gap between the sec and big ten and every other conference. Travis hunter isn't even a top 10 reciever in the big ten or sec and definitely not a top 10 cb. I'm sorry geanty is good but my god the mountain west can't tackle. He's about to learn Tuesday how real football is played.
@grimreality451 it was the 2nd game of the season. Oregon is ranked 22nd in rush defense and Penn state is ranked 7th. Penn state is ranked 4th in defense in the nation. Oregon had their worst defensive game of they're entire season and it wasn't even close. He might end up getting 120 yards but when they go down by 2 touchdowns early, which they absolutely will, they'll have to start throwing the ball and then they're going to be huge trouble. I'll come back to this comment after this blowout game tonight so I can laugh at you.
Number 7 on UNLV is Jackson Woodard. He was a Texas A&M transfer and is 100% a pro linebacker. He’s got great size and does a great job reading plays as you can see. Unfortunately for Ashton, Penn state has like 3-4 of this guy, so it’ll be a tough task

I’M A CERTIFIED BALL KNOWLEDGE KNOWER. But I like how you do it
Umm Jeanty runs 4.45 not 4.38.. Penn States former #1 RB in the same class as Jeanty Nick Singleton runs 4.35
It’s called the my cousin Vinny tackle! Brooks have you seen my cousin Vinny?
His vision and the way he sets up blocks is nuts
I really enjoyed your commentary and knowledge. I've been a BSU fan since before I was born. My dad played there in the 80's
