just managed to complete a non stop 1 km yesterday after a week of trying though it could have been the slowest run possible in the history of running. will try all these techniques tomorrow morning. thnx
Just don't worry about that or others. One step taken today is better than postponing that. I don't know your event, but try and follow a schedule for overall development. You have to increase your strength and flexibility too. That will not only increase speed and endurance, but keep you away from injury too. I suggest you see all my videos without fast-forwarding them. You will learn a large number of things in running which eventually can help you meet your targets
That is great. The u should run slow only. As slow so that you can talk while running. Increase distance slowly. Do not concentrate of speed. You can use walk-run strategy to initially increase your total distance. Suppose u make a target of 5 km. So you can run for 800 meters and then walk 200 meters and complete 5 km

Jay Kasana you should do all what you love to do. There is no problem in lunges if you do planned. Eat normal. Focus on proteins and electrolytes. Do not over eat carbs. Maintain a balanced diet and avoid alcohol and smoking...
DEVENDER SINGH 26 days fot 58sec is less, but you can achieve it by planning and working more on techniqje. Try running first 800meters slow. Use electrolytes between running, take good proteins. Also stress more on technique especially last 400 meters
DEVENDER SINGH I generally don't recommend ankle weights because they spoil technique. However in your routine you can put them once or twice in a week. Rest follow a routine and work on your core strength. Work on your upper body also

you should run once and work on your technique, flexibility and strategy the second time. Now we do not have time to build core so we will have to completely rely on technique to close the time

I have to run a 7 minute mile in about 2 months, right now I'm doing it in 10 minutes. I live in an area where the temperature at night is around 30 degree centigrade, whereas the temperature will probably be around 40 centigrade when I have to run a 7 minute mile for a physical exam. Should I train in warm clothes at night to acclimitize my body to the heat? Thank you.
Run in normal clothes. No need to bring yourself in stress. On the race day which is just once, more different will be from your time and technique rather than temperature.
