Guys, thanks for your magnificent coverage of Salute-50. I even ended up purchasing a set of Simon Miller's rules 'For King & Parliament'. Maybe you should charge him commission, because, without your Salute coverage, I would never have known of their existence.
The dam busters game looked fabulous, the Carentan game looked great with some lovely buildings and figures. My favourite was the Polish Swedish pike and shot game, impressive amount of cavalry. Simon Millers successors game was epic. London bridge game was beautiful
More great coverage 👍. Thanks for covering the FOGH games. I think that Steve (from the the Desert Shield game) may have been the furthest travelled attendee at the show as he’d come from New Zealand 😀. The Friends of General Haig get everywhere 😆.
Love this show, been loads of times, allways well worth the ticket price, and these videos bring the feeling back, another layer of enjoyment, such a shame the audio mix made it so hard to hear the interviews. Good job people
I have been playing war games for 50 yrs, I have tried Wargame Illustrated but fine it tends be a biased to the the big companies and mainly 28 mm like Warlords, black powder etc, missing out on 15mm companies like peter pig and Essex miniatures, swamping these and others, plenty of pretty pictures and ADs but lacking depth and variety
I hope there will be articles in WI about the Dambusters game and the London Bridge one
Thanks for doing this.

That Dambusters set up is unbelievable! Fab job!

Great comment at 4: 52 that did not really get a real reaction back.
Something I might try with my own planes.
😂 So unenthusiastic with the young dude at the end. I'm guessing that was nearing the end of the day
