Ah Freya I can only imagine whats going on in your head right now. I really hope that the therapy does help along with meds. I see a therapist every month to talk and tackle anything my head is moaning on about. My meds well if i didn't have them I'm sure id be an anxious panicky mess of goo. But I think you will be alright. Ive gone through a marriage and divorce( luckily no kids) but he was abusive. But good thing is the marriage only lasted 9 months because i got out. Yeah im oversharing but idc. I just hope if anyone else reads this and feel weird at this time know they arent alone. Mental illness is so common and its only in the last 10 years I think that people reel ok to talk about some things. But you arent alone Freya so many of us with similar issues in the subculture are here for support.*big hug*🌹🌹🌹
At least you got out of the abusive marriage, and without kids. You were fortunate. Many women in abusive marriages aren't as lucky. Some guys don't show their true colors until the marriage has been done, and they think they have you. I've been there myself (no kids either), and I hope you're doing better today. (Jan Griffiths).

I have an old black sweater... with some white stars and spiderwebs... and the black is more grey now... after 10 years... q___q
Black clothes should be washed in the gentle cycle, cold water, and if you can find it, detergent made for dark clothing. Tumble dry on low heat in the dryer. This is how I wash my black clothes (most of my wardrobe), and everything stays as black as the day I bought it, even years later. (Jan Griffiths).

What you feel, feeling like floathing above yourself is probably what they call dissociation and or depersonalization disorder.
It sounds bad, but it's actually caused by anxiety or depression. I got this disorder for a few years now and I feel it everyday, almost all the time.
I hope it won't affect you the way it affects me, but I can assure you that it isn't dangerous or as bad at it seems. Most of the time it gets away after a few weeks/months. It's a weird feeling and it feels like you constantly is in a dream.

I've heard you lament in a couple videos about how we stopped making things beautiful. I have had that feeling for so long and I love to see that some others have a great sensitivity to beauty. Aesthetics actually influence my happiness pretty heavily, but a lot of people don't really understand that.

I recognised the “absence/distant” vibe before you talked about it because it’s something I’m very familiar with myself. You disassociate and you can’t help it. You’re loved and supported through this never forget that.

I love your hair’s complexity in this video. Sometimes when your hair is teased to be huge it is not as attention holding for as a viewer as it is mostly just big and only slightly sculpted, I think wow and that’s it. With this new hair styles complexity one can enter a new landscape and explore as a sensual eye adventurer and feel pleased by ones trip and come out admiring thee and give some energy in dark adoration. If one thinks of high art one could even give deeper meaning to the different environments of ones get up, including hair as creative as that and it’s zones. Spirit speaks louder than words my dear.

I also suffer from dissociation related to trauma. A way of coping with it and grounding yourself in reality is to find things that stimulate your senses sharply. Find something that smells strongly, something cold or hot, something with a rough texture, something that tastes sour. If I can’t do any of these things what I do is I try to always wear a hair tie on my wrist, which I can pull on so it hits my wrist and causes a small amount of pain. It brings me out of it if I feel myself dissociating. That one should only be done if you aren’t currently prone to self harm however, as for those who do it can trigger them.
Hope you get through whatever you are dealing with.

I love "Dark in Love" in general, their designs are amazing!! I think the dress at 3:10 is a sehr cool design for them, though I love their patterns, lace and everything that they always do. That veil was too cool!! You looked great in it!! I have major anxiety and depression issues, so I truely, really do hope you feel better. Your videos always make my day!
I definitely know that feeling of floating above your body! That weird super ungrounded/disconnected feeling, like you're above your body and controlling it like it's a puppet. I get like that sometimes when my anxiety/depression gets really bad. It was also a very unpleasant side effect when I went on amitriptyline briefly (never doing that again.)

The floating above yourself is how I feel when I experience depersonalization/ disassociation. I think sometimes people can disassociate after experiencing trauma.

I have had to deal with my anxiety disorder since I was 11, it's been almost 10 years and I still sometimes have out-of-body experiences. Don't worry about us, take care of yourself.
