The only reason Armenians get asked this is because the Sayfo, the genocide that the Ottomon Turks commenced against Armenians, Greeks, and Assyrians was done because the Turks were Muslims who wanted to remove Christians from the empire. It is worth pointing out though Muslim-Majority countries like Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt hated the Turks as much as Armenians did so Armenians were taken in as refugees and were able to build communities and a new life while still getting to keep some of their culture (hence why a lot of Armenians also speak Arabic). Even leaders of these countries like Saddam Hussein were known to have some level of positive attitude towards Armenians.

i keep seeing comments on this topic so i thought i’d do some explaining. i see lots of muslims in the comments saying thank you for loving our religion. as someone who is armenian, i’ve always been taught to love everyone, no matter what their background, beliefs, religion, or race is/are. even though we have muslim enemies (Turkey and Azerbaijan), we are still taught to love them because as a christian country (the first country to accept christianity as the national religion) we believe that it says in the bible, multiple times, to love those who persecute you. so even though not all muslims are attacks or threats to us, we still love all of them, we love everyone for that matter

i keep seeing comments on this topic so i thought i’d do some explaining. i see lots of muslims in the comments saying thank you for loving our religion. as someone who is armenian, i’ve always been taught to love everyone, no matter what their background, beliefs, religion, or race is/are. even though we have muslim enemies (Turkey and Azerbaijan), we are still taught to love them because as a christian country (the first country to accept christianity as the national religion) we believe that it says in the bible, multiple times, to love those who persecute you. so even though not all muslims are attacks or threats to us, we still love all of them, we love everyone for that matter

@JanekRozmanowski we dont hate the people just the turkish government that denies the armenian genocide, and the azeri government that started killing innocent armenian civilians again 2 days ago. The azeri president himself said that they want to get rid of all armenians. And in result, his population is becoming more and more racist and hateful against armenians. I saw a video where an azerbaidjan citizen was showing his grandson videos of missile attacks on armenia, teaching his grandson to hate armenians. It's twisted, and evil. So of course armenians are gonna have a struggle trusting azeris. But there are really nice turks out there. Not all of them are being taught armenian hate in elementary schools, like in azerbaidjan
