Yes I have one I bought from you and cant get it to work.. It’s on a Nextstar 6SE. It goes through the autoaline process and tells me it’s been successful. Then I pick something to look at from the menu and it swings in completely the wrong direction. I have been to the Geelong astronomical society and Dave there spent a couple of hours trying to get it to work. With no success. I don’t know what to do next.
@@rogergm62 are you using a wedge? im using a Nextar 8SE with a Wedge to convert the mount in a Equatorial mount, I can get 30-40 seconds to exposure but not more, im thinking to purchase one of this for deep space photography..
I think I'm going to invest in this for my Celestron 8 inch Edge HD. I don't have a view of Polaris and it has been impossible for me to align anything.
g`day i would like to see a video using the evolution with the starsense guider as far as i know you can not guide with the evolution mount but i would very much like to. too get longer exposures on my alt/az mount 20 to 30 sec max at this time unguided
@@brianallan1974 i own one no they do not guide do you own one ?? you can get your star alinement with a starsense (plate solving) but NOT GUIDE with a evolution mount
Very nice presentation as usual . You didn’t actually comment about the cable connections , like you said you would ! Does it plug into the AUX or the handset please ? Nextstar + or Starsense one only ??? With Starsense one … nothing else needed ?
Chills when he pulled the razor out 😬

@@charlyhernandez355 I personally do not recommend purchasing one of these. They seem to be defective. I ended up buying a Celestron Starsense.
Starsense Autoalign

Hello, do you know if any of this equipment is compatible with a MacBook? 🤔
Historically, the softwares are a pain to run on macs…

For those wondering with AVX mount, we have an Aux port as well. Website says compatible, but havent tried it yet
Is it suitable for refractors or newtons?
No, primarily designed for Celestron SCT
Can the Celestron StarSense Autoguider be used wth ASI Air plus ?
No, celestron loves to make there stuff proprietary
No, Unfortunately it can not run with the ASIAIR
Do you know if this is compatible with the ZWO AsiAir Pro and ASI cameras?
No, this is NOT compatible with the ZWO ASIAIR
It really is a game changer. I love using it with the Sky Portal app. I can get set up and shooting 3 minute exposures in less than 5 minutes.
