this a very good set of videos you have put together for the Starsence Autoguider, i have the CGX Mount and RASA 8 and the starsence autoguider just need some clear skies here in Edmonton AB to try it out. thanks for the great videos

It has a lot of bugs they need to work out. I have it and there's lots of let down from the "as advertised " promises. I am hoping they work all the bugs out. 😢

Very nice and Informative video, thanks for sharing it. A question, does SSAG able to do dithering regardless the camera I use for capturing lights?

I use N.I.N.A. with CPWI driver chosen as my telescope. I haven't figured out dithering yet. Since you aren't actually guiding through N.I.N.A. you can't set it up in the sequencer from what I can tell. I haven't had any luck with it anyway. There is an option in CPWI to use the PHD2 server, but I'm not really sure what it does, nor can I find any information on it. I can't tell that it does anything on or off. I have not been able to get PHD2 to communicate with the ssag directly.

Good morning, great set of video's. Do I have to Center Calibrate each time I set up my scope (successive nights of viewing /imaging). I normally set-up in my driveway but not the exact same spot. Your Video shows "Part 1 of 6", I will be checking for further videos. Thank you again for your assistance, Bob.

The "Center Calibration" is only necessary on the first use. Once that relationship has been established, you're good to go.

Are you able to use it with other software like NINA or are you restricted to CPWI?

I know this is a little late but may help someone else. You use CPWI in combination with N.I.N.A. When you choose your telescope in N.I.N.A. you choose the option for CPWI. All your guiding is done within CPWI so you don't turn on guiding in N.I.N.A. Its a little weird jumping back and forth, but I get great guiding. I just haven't figured out dithering yet. StarSense Autoguider has made imaging so much easier for me, it's worth its weight in gold!
