is it just me or is weird listening to "european" songs and understand almost all of them because they're in English? ._. I miss the feeling of listening stuff that I don't understand at all but with all the beautiful accents of their countries

Let's do a 360º turn to the ESC giving the 12 points not to the neighborhood but to one of the farest countries from the Eastern Europe, singing in its language (as all of us should normally do in this contest), although it has never won since its first participation in 1964!
I think this time Portugal deserves to host the ESC due to the quality and simplicity of its music (melody, voice and lyrics).
Portugal and its song ("Amar pelos dois" by Salvador Sobral) can love for both and everyone ;)

I think Eurovision rule 1 should be - you have to sing In the native language of the country you represent.

why do 90% of the songs sound the same and why is everything in english?
Just be more creative, sing in your own language and try to create something different. At least Ukraine's song is one of the few you would recognize afterwards. I can't tell most of the songs apart.

1st place: BULGARIA! For me this is the best song of all Eurovisions, this dance was the best and we could feel the excess of energy!
2nd place: POLAND! Amazing voice and beautiful song. Best Polish entry for years and maybe ever!
3rd place: UKRAINE! Maybe not the best song, but with meaning. Jamala gave her soul on the stage.
SUMMARY: For me Bulgaria is an absolute winner of ESC 2016 and Poli is amazing singer and dancer. I can't get over of that song and I just listen it again and again, because it's so good!
