I've been introducing my grandchildren to BTS because they have such a wonderful message. They love all the English songs. I liked this song, but to be honest...it won't be one I'll be sharing with them due to the use of the 'N' word, which I find to be so offensive and unnecessary. I think it's often used as a strange sort of 'flex' and I even hear reactors using the word as a descriptive of BTS?? Maybe my age is showing, but I wish J Hope had asked him not to use it. JMO.
I don't know if J-hope asking a black man to not use that word would be ideal :/
It’s understandable that you don’t play songs with cursive words to kids at all. But I’ve heard kids listen to worse songs and nobody has a problem with it.
the fixation on the n word is not something I’m bothered by. You’re free to do what you want for your family.
You are ruining a great collab with your offensive and unnecessary negativity. The issue is your perspective, God said what the enemy (racists) meant for harm (the N word), he will turn it around for your good (conscious music). I personally do not use the N word but I understand why using a word that was meant to harm you mentally and emotionally, could be empowering for some. Also, J Cole was giving so much knowledge here, he was not "Flexing" at all, so it is odd that you came up with that. God bless you, your kids probably listen to Cardi B etc without you knowing which is what you should be concerned about. J Cole and J Hope have great minds and good hearts, that should be what mattered to you.
I'm not a religious person and I didn't resonate with the religious parts of J Cole's part, but it's not up to me. This is his personal expression and art. I think accepting people where they are instead of expecting them to bend to our preferences is a nicer way to navigate life.

I missed the memo that said the world revolves around you that everything should be to your liking. Also I don’t understand how “biggest” addresses someone’s sexuality which you’re obsessed with. It’s almost as if you’re a closeted person and need to come out 😂. Nobody cares what you think
