J. Hope is a member and 1 of 3 rappers in the group BTS, the biggest group in the world right now. And they aren't Chinese, they are Korean. J. Hope has loved J. Cole's music for a long time and one of the reasons J-Hope wanted to become a music artist and they met last year at Lollapalooza in Chicago where J-Hope headlined the festival the first Korean artist to do so. J-Hope started out as a street dancer dancing to J. Cole's music. BTS even did their own version of J. Cole's Born Sinner called Born Singer which was included on their anthology album called Proof from last year but they actually recorded it 10 years ago. J-Hope will be the 2nd member of BTS to enlist in the Korean military (military service is mandatory for all able bodied men in South Korea) so this is a goodbye for now present from J-Hope before he enlists. The other members of BTS are also pursuing solo projects before they enlist, but the plan to reunite in 2025 when their service is completed. The music video was filmed in New York.

3 rappers from BTS are really good rappers. This song doesn't showcase JHope's talent because he wants it to focus on J Cole. He used to dance to JCole's songs when he was a street dancer.

Let me only say this: We, about 95 millions of BTS Armys (fanbase), know JHope's work for many years and we know many people are still living under a rock because they are only open to our western music. Korean music (k-pop is not a genre it's a complex and powerful industry) is a college social study phenomena because is taking over the world.
BTS is a multi-million dollar group that sold out stadiums in an hour. The last sold out in 15 minutes was this week's Suga aka Agust D US tour.
I suggest you check out BTS rap line solo works like JHope's Lollapalooza concert, RM BTS leader's recent Indigo Album and his incredible Joke rap song, Agust D Dawechita. "Agust D" song and Shadow and of course BTS four Cyphers and the top and incredible Tear live (black outfits). 💜😎

SMH. 1:21 Regarding what the CC shows as saying "sh1tty Chinese" and after replaying multiple times, and watching the lip movements that seems to be what was said (with a possibility of perhaps saying, "aw sh1t, a Chinese?"). I'm no fan of communist or oppressive governments and I see that you have apologized for the personal ethnic snafu, and have gone on to seem to like the group (sincere or clickbait, I'll never know).
However that was quite the "doozy" outburst, and to me, revealed a dark heart. I've watched very many BTS reactions over the years and this was a first.
Unless you said something totally different, it might be an idea to edit the audio.

Yikes. Didn't know j-hope. It's almost sad because you've missed so much. Why did he get together with J. Cole? EVERY artist would like to collab with BTS members. j-hope's dance is a tiktok dance challenge now. All across the world they are dancing to this song.
