They have never said HYBE in their music vids, Hybe is the corporation not the label. They are basically the money and business side of things where the labels under Hybe handle the artistic side of things. BTS are still under the music label BIGHIT MUSIC which is a subsidiary of Hybe corporations. Bang PD made sure to make it an independent label under Hybe before he stepped down from the CEO position.
This collab was amazing because it feels like just like Hobi needed to say something to us and his members, Jcole seemed like he needed to say something as well. Mutual message and collaborative efforts from two amazing artists. Vibes Vibes Vibes.

J-Hope is FIRE! And J Cole's words are a masterpiece. J-Hope was so cute fanboying over J Cole, so humble. I feel like the little child in the beginning of the video represents ARMY just like I felt the young girl in JIN's Astronaut video represented ARMY ( just my opinion). I'm glad that the BTS members are now having more freedom to enjoy the perks of all their hard work and to showcase their individual talents.

I wonder how long the members of BTS dreamed of one day being able to have the freedom to showcase their individual talents. It's somewhat heartbreaking. But they have a love for each other and for what they are creating as a team that they put their individual needs and wants on the back burner, now that's a true bond of love.
They always have the freedom to showcase their talents. even before, the boys were able to produce their own mix tapes, write/release individual songs, etc. Bang PD made sure that their autonomy as an artist is respected. However, since bts is a group, they always have to think as a team - and that's how they became incredibly successful, both as a group and as individuals.

2:38 a lot of people get confused as well so a quick explanation: hybe is a company with a lot of subsidiaries and one of them is bighit, when they decided to change from bighit to hybe bang pd that was ceo at the time made bighit a private company under hybe, so bts and txt that are the only artists under bighit doesn't get affected that much with the change and that's why they still have the bighit intro at the begging, they're still managed by bighit

It's a wonderful collab (Hobi's idol-could it be any better?!), and although sad in that it's his goodbye to us (Army), J Cole came spitting bars and the message and lyrics were so touching...it's just insanely good. So love our Sunshine...and will miss him so much. So many similarities to The Astronaut...💜💜

No dance break you say, but I've heard it said and I agree that jhope danced freely during J. Cole's verse. It doesn't appear to be choreographed, just him feeling and moving to the music. Hey DT, the reason why BTS' MVs still say Bighit Music is because they're still under Bighit, which is a subsidiary under HYBE Labels. THe best way to describe this in regards to the music and entertainment industry is how SONY Music owns RCA Records, Columbia Records, Arista Records, and Epic Records. Hybe owns Big Hit Music, Source Music, Pledis Entertainment, Belift Lab, KOZ Entertainment, and ADOR, and all together its HYBE Labels. They're separate record companies under one big record label like SONY. The only groups and artist who are under the same company (Bighit Music) as BTS is TXT and Lee Hyun, while Seventeen, NewJeans, etc. are under the same label which is HYBE if that make sense.

the collaboration is meaningful on many levels, and not only for the two j's. perhaps the best is seeing that these two immensely talented artists, with different skin colors, from different different backgrounds and different cultures, can come together and create beautiful music. if anything, this collaboration is also a profound statement against racism: on the street, every one is the same -- for as individuals, we all "run, move, look, love, and hope" towards our dreams for our selves, our families, our friends, for all of us.

Cause if it is a story how he supposed to be a vocalist but later changed with V then it's not true) Hoseok was in an original bts line-up which consisted from undergroud rappers only, he was meant to be a rapper from the start. V, btw, wasn't even in bts line-up till latest time of their trainee days when they already switched to idol group. The othet thing is if you mean that he wasn't a rapper before he got under bighit. This is true, but also Hoseok actually went through the most authentic path as rapper cause he started as underground dancer (which is the og of hip-hop) and then went through freestyle battles with underground rappers under bighit and now he basically raps for half of his life - he is trully incredible

I envision a group of dancers waiting for Hobi to rap and dance the roof off the mother 😂. There is so much correlation betwwen the 2 of them first Hobi said J (both J) in the air (Cole already on top in the rooftop (Hobi's childhood Idol) when Hobi iis moving during the whole MV from the little kid he was to reach the top like his idol. And at the end he's right there full circle. Hope talk about faith and his name is also Hope and Cole talk about faith (that guy smart as F... But stupid as hell who doesn't believe "doesn't have faith" because he can't see. Cole say he doesn't know anything else doesn't have a different hobbi, Hobi had said he doesn't know anything else (would he had been a different Hobi?)The sign "it's my call" (calling) worldplay with Cole but also it was Hobi's'calling (his Mama sacrifice everything for his calling) . Of course Cole rap about the tribulation he went through (so do J-Hope) just to survive and both came up on top of it. Jack in the box wants more is not done yet and in this song he said he is still ( still there but still cause for a moment he will be still for the military wordplay) Cole said the more he eat the more he get stronger so he's not done yet. Cole talk about the child you help grow and you have to let him go. We see Hobi letting go of his past self (putting to rest " the memorial site" in the street MV) for this new chapter. And finally they were both looking in the teaser at their "Future". I'm sure there is more like him Hobi going the opposite sign of the exit , the stop sign etc....

HYBE is the mother company's name, but it has lots of subdivisions under it which includes the music side which lots of labels are under. BigHit is one of those labels which is why any music coming out from BTS, TXT and the other soloist sunbeinim (forgot his name sorry) will show the BigHit logo.
JHopexJCole = pure perfection. They blended so well together. So cute to see Hobi fanboyjng over his idol JCole, really shows the softer side of BTS. Yeah surprised not to see a dance break in the MV, but Hobi does do some freestyle dancing on You Tube Shorts with this song. Make sure to check it out. It’s not good bye it’s until we meet again.
